A beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated gem of an apartment right in the centre of one of Nice's most sought-after neighbourhoods. With a view of Place du Pin from the balcony, Livvy offers you a stylish retreat just moments away from the street life and café terraces of the city's new place to be. Wooden flooring, exposed beams and a slate-style kitchen give this 3rd floor apartment authenticity and its double aspect keeps it light and airy.
Full of light the central living and dining area has French windows onto the balcony and a stylish sofa and armchair from which to watch the wall-mounted TV; perfect for when you want to unwind chez vous. Chromecast allows you to play your own library of Netflix or Amazon Prime. The dining table seats four, although with the variety of restaurants on your doorstep you may not find an opportunity to use it!
For those who enjoy home catering there is a handsome, slate-style, corner kitchen. Open-plan for convivial meal preparation; there is an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, laundry equipment and everything you need for the perfect cup of tea or coffee to go with your morning croissants
There are 2 double bedrooms. One looks onto a quiet central courtyard and the other onto the little shopping street below. Both have plenty of storage with drawers, shelves and cupboard space. There is double-glazing for an extra quiet night's sleep, a portable AC unit and heaters if necessary.
The bathroom is elegantly tiled with a jacuzzi bath for an extra touch of luxury. There is a basin, a well-lit mirror, a cupboard for your necessities and the toilet is separate for extra convenience.
The small front balcony is perfect for breakfast for two or an early evening aperitif. Folding table and chairs allow you to sit back and raise your glasses to the 16th century Fort du Mont Alban on the tree covered hill to the east or to have a bird's-eye view of the neighbourhood life below.
Street parking, although available for a fee is often difficult in this area. However, there are several car parks within easy walking distance of the apartment. Try Parking Promenade des Arts, which is just 5 minutes away, or the car parks on the port itself.
The nearest tram stop, Garibaldi, is 350m from your door and will take you to the main train station in about ten minutes. There are also plenty of buses from Promenade des Arts to take you in all directions. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information.
Traditional yet forward-thinking, gastronomic, creative, historic, friendly, inspiring; le petit Marais of Nice is fast living up to the reputation of its big sister in Paris. Just a couple of streets away from the colourful buildings of Nice Port, rue Bonaparte is the centre of all things hip. Leaving behind the sleepy retirement image of the past, this area of Nice is really going somewhere, whilst still managing to keep the traditional allure of days gone by. Napoleon himself stayed on this street and he wouldn't be disappointed today with the array of good food, window shopping and vibrant community spirit on display in this neighbourhood. A world of its own, but only a few minute's walk to the Old Town, and with easy access by bus, tram and train to all parts of the city and region.
