Best location in Dingle Town
My husband and I along with five close friends, stayed at the Cornerstone Cottage in Dingle for 9 nights recently.
Upon arriving at 9:30 PM, were greeted by the property manager Laura.
She had a nice basket of snacks and bread waiting for us which was much appreciated. It was lovely being greeted and having everything explained to us about the cottage.
We found the house to be well equipped and cozy. Any questions during our stay were always answered in a timely manner.
The location was terrific. It was only a 5 minute walk to the pubs, stores and supermarket.
Even though a parking place is provided, we did not need a car.
We were able to hire a driver to take us around the Dingle Pennisula which was so wonderful. We used Dingle Shuttle. The driver picked us up directly from our cottage.
He also transported us from the airport and back. Split seven ways it was very affordable and we would do it again. Makes for a relaxing vacation!
There are plenty of nice walks to do right from the cottage. The walk to the lighthouse was great and some of us did it twice.
The Cornerstone was perfect for us in every way and we would absolutely stay there again.
Great House with a Great location in Town
The house was clean and prepared with linen for each of us and a lovely Welcome Basket was on the kitchen table. Laura was easy to connect with and flexible about meeting us, as we had to pick up some of our party in Cork. The in Town location made it easy to walk to everything as well as giving us easy access to the Dingle Peninsula Drive. Dingle is a Lovely, Friendly Town with many restaurants, pubs, and shops. Outdoor activities were plentiful and close by. We chose Dingle to vacation with our Family because of the Town and People and Laura greeted us as a Friend would. We will return if the Calendar allows.
Within walking distance to the harbor, restaurants and pubs and little street noise. The caretaker Laura was extremely helpful after we left some items behind and needed to arrange to meet her to pick up the items
