Built in traditional style with high beamed ceilings, this attractive apartment built eight years ago is set in pretty Mediterranean gardens, in a quiet location on a hill in Pittulongu.

The apartment has two terraces. A large covered shady lower terrace, opening onto a small private walled garden. This terrace is very private and not overlooked, and is comfortably furnished to provide a seating area with a large sofa, two chairs and a coffee table, and a dinning area with a round table and four chairs. Whilst the upper solarium terrace is furnished with a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table, and is a great place to sunbath or relax in the evening sipping an aperitif whilst enjoying uninterrupted views across to Isola Tavolara and Golfo di Olbia.

The apartment has two double bedrooms, the master has a double bed, and views onto the terrace and across the bay. Whilst the second bedroom has twin beds.

A cot and high chair are available at no extra cost.

There are no owners possessions cluttering up the apartment, as they are locked away in the third bedroom.

The apartment is very comfortably furnished with everything you may require for your holiday from a well stocked kitchen, to novels to read, to a freezer bag for picnics on the beach, a beach umbrella, and buckets and spades for the children.

Air conditioning/heating is available at extra cost, and can be either selected at time of booking or chosen on arrival and the cost deducted off the breakage deposit.

Unlimited wifi.

Private allocated covered parking space provided.

' For peace of mind', we have a local English lady managing the apartment, and a useful information pack on arrival.

Welcome pack of wine, water, milk, tea and coffee on arrival.

There is use of a communal pool (June to mid September) with a terrace and good sea views. Umbrellas are provided for shade. The swimming pool benefits from a Lifeguard.

The nearest white sandy beach is 1.5km long and is just a 10 minute walk, whilst there are many more beaches within a short easy driving distance. Windsurfing, dinghy hire and pedaloes are available to rent on the beach.

The apartment is set in a perfect location for exploring the north east coast and the interior of the island. Excellent for both a romantic break for two, or for a family holiday. Ideal summer holiday rental or throughout the year.

For our booked guests exclusively we have arranged family friendly yacht charter on a 41ft catamaran, with an English spoken Skipper. Available on request at very good rates from June to September.

Olbia and its ferry port is only 10 minutes away, whilst Olbia airport with direct flights form the UK and many European cities is just 15 minutes away, so easy quick transfer time.

The nearest shop is a 10 minute walk at the end of the road. Additionally there is a larger supermarket surrounded by a variety of shops a 5 minute drive away. Locally there is also a fish, a bread shop, and several pizza take aways. Larger supermarkets can be found in Olbia, along with a twice weekly street market, and many shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. In August there is also a lively night market in the main street. Olbia also has several large banks and a Hospital. There is a large swimming pool complex 8km away with three Olympic size swimming pools, a health spa and tennis complex - open all year.

Bars and restaurants : Pittulongu has various good quality restaurants and bars, the closest is a 10 minute walk away on the local beach. Most beaches have bars in season.

The designer shops of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo are a short drive away.

Golf at Pevero Golf Club: The world renowned Pevero Golf club is only 30 minutes away. The club is one of the most beautiful and exclusive clubs in the world.

About Ann Marie Reohorn

We are a family of 4 who first visited the island when our children were young, (they are now early twenties) and have seen them grow up enjoying the freedom and safety of this beautiful island - there is something for everyone! As with all our guests we work very hard and are restricted to definitive holiday periods, so we try and make everyday count for our guests by sharing the knowledge that we have built up over the last 10 years. We try and make the whole holiday decision making and booking as easy and painless as possible. So from the moment someone chooses to holiday in our property the fun starts! Why Ann Marie Reohorn chose Olbia

After spending two great holidays on the island we succumbed to 'Sardiniaitis', and had to buy our own property to be able to go and escape as often as possible and at any time of the year. We choose this area specifically as we fell in love with the North East coast, but wanted to be close to the airport (only 15 minutes) and to the year round facilities of Olbia. Our village, Pittulongu is in a fantastic area with great beaches, and amenities. We bought our apartment after falling in love with not only the quiet location, the wonderful view, but also the pretty architecture of the apartment with its traditional features such as the high limed oak ceilings. We lock all our personal possessions away in the third bedroom, so no owners possessions cluttering it up. This enables our guests to treat the property as if it is their 'own bolt hole'.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is conveniently located close to Olbia and its airport, so transfer time is only 15 minutes. Locally we have restaurants, bars and shops that remain open all year round - very important. We are situated in one of the prettiest and unspoilt areas of the island, yet it has the unique benefit of having access to amazing beaches, unspoilt countryside and the glamour of the Costa Smeralda. This property has been set up to use by our family, so very well appointed. The property reflects our personal experience of what we would like to have available to us on our holiday. As we visit Sardinia on a regular basis throughout the year, the apartment is well maintained and as we now know the island very well we can give plenty of help and advice for guests planning their holidays. For additional peace of mind our English housekeeper is always on hand for additional advice, and most importantly she speaks both English and Italian. Finally, yes, it is a view that 'takes your breath away'.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely apartment, and will tell our family and friends about it- I have already had lots of comments about your fabulous roof terrace which we enjoyed so much in the evenings. All the extra touches,like the candles were much appreciated. We can see why you like Sardinia so much, we had a very memorable meal on the beach at Spiaggia Bianca on Friday night-absolutely magical!

Situated on the attractive North East Coast. The apartment is a perfect location for exploring the many stunning beaches of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. The nearest beach is just a 10 minute walk, there are 6 more beaches within a 10 minute drive. The sea is crystal clear, and all the beaches have clean white sand. Most have lounger, windsurf and pedalo hire, and beach bars in season. The sea is warm from May to November.

The apartment is also well located for exploring the interior of the island, the artist village of San Panteleo, the mountains and the many archeological remains.

Olbia is a lively city with many facilities. Nearby is a large swimming pool complex with three olympic size swimming pools, health spa and tennis courts - open all year.


Olbia airport is 15 minutes, Alghero airport is 1.5 hours, Cagliari airport 4 hours away

The apartment has two terraces both with seating areas. There is also use of a communal swimming pool, with a life guard. The pretty private terrace surrounding the pool has good views towards the sea and Isola Tavolara (available June to September). Beach umbrella, freezer box, buckets and spades etc provided in the apartment along with a varied selection of books to read. 'For peace of mind', we have a local English lady managing the apartment to help you during your stay. For larger parties we also have two 3 bedroom villas, both with private pools in the same location available for rental. Detailed information pack available on arrival with details of all local facilities and attractions. Welcome pack on arrival with wine, water, milk, tea.

A great family holiday in a beautiful location

We stayed at this apartment with our two girls (age 5 and 8) for 10 days in August. In the run up to our holiday Ann Marie (the owner) was very helpful with ideas for trips, car hire and our payment was staggered over some months. The apartment was very well furnished and suited our needs. The garden area was a tranquil place to eat breakfast and in the evenings we enjoyed reading with candles and chill out music. The info booklet provided by the owner was excellent and well thumbed by me; it informed many of our restaurant choices and some excursions. The pool which is literally over the road was clean and provided a good alternative to the beach for the children. Thy also made a few friends here from the 'village' of apartments which was fortunate. The local beach 'Lo Squalo' is very family friendly and you can sit and watch your children play safely as the water was very shallow for at least 50m and it was warm. Your view is not obscured by other sunbathers as it is not a deep beach which made it easy to read and 'watch'. There is a rep (Margaret) who helped us out with car hire options. We would definitely recommend this apartment and area.

Before buying abroad we used to rent properties, so called on our own experiences to try and provide a comfortable and stylish holiday home not only for ourselves but for our guests. Hence why we provide little things like a beach umbrella and a freezer bag. We also try and be as informative and helpful as we can so that the run up to the holiday can be exciting, and when the guests arrive they have information at hand about beaches, restaurants, things to do as well as locations of shops, banks and markets. We are always available to our guests before and during their stay so that it they require anything they know that they can contact either us or our local representative. We have provided an honest and current description and photographs of both our apartment, and local area so that our guests are safe in the knowledge that the property they are booking is the exact property they will be staying in.

Very well presented apartment with great views

The property was very well appointed and immaculately presented on arrival. It was very comfortable and lots of thoughtful touches like the sun umbrella, red book containing a whole host of useful information such as places to see, restaurants to eat at etc plus very helpful and prompt advice from the owner, Ann Marie, whenever we asked. It's a great location to visit all the fabulous beaches nearby and up to the Costa Smeralda. The apartment is set in a complex with other apartments and access to a nice communal pool which we used. Overall a very comfortable, well situated apartment from which to enjoy the local area and beyond.

Owner's Response: Prior to buying, and renting out our property, we used to rent properties ourselves so used our own experiences to try and add those extra touches, so our guests can arrive and get on with their holiday straight away. We like to offer guests the benefit of our 15 years experience of this part of the island, to help shorted the curve in terms of beaches, restaurant, sightseeing etc. We also like guests to know that there is a contact point both in Sardinia and the UK if they require any help and advice.

We loved it so much we have booked for next year

The apartment was even better than we anticipated. It was extremely clean, well equipped and stylish. The photos do not do it justice!

We spent a wonderful week exploring the beautiful beaches close to the apartment, and enjoyed a morning in colourful San Panteleo market.

The food is the local restaurants was fantastic, we eat lots of fish and drank some lovely local wine.

Our week flew by, one week was just not enough, we wished we had booked for longer. Although we rarely holiday in the same location twice, this apartment is such a great find, and the owners and lady who looks after it are so helpful that we have already booked again for next year, but for two weeks instead of just one!

We would not hesitate in recommending it to friends.

We had a great holiday in your apartment, and could not believe how good the weather was for the time of year. The apartment is very well equipped and perfect for our needs, we especially enjoyed having breakfast on the roof terrace watching the boats go by. The information you provided was very useful. We followed your tips on restaurants, and really liked Lo Squalo and Mama Beach. What wonderful views! The highlight of our trip was the memorable day on the catamaran. We agree that Sardinia is very beautiful, we loved trying out all the beaches and managed to see a lot of the north east of the island, we especially liked Porto Rotondo and Baia Sardinia We will definitely come back again sometime and stay in your pretty apartment.

Owner's Response: One of our favourite ways to relax and enjoy the apartment is enjoying breakfast and an early evening aperitif on the upper terrace, watching the boats go by in the bay. It really is a beautiful ever changing view. Sardinia is a very beautiful unspoilt island, the apartment is well placed to explore both the coast and interior, so I am pleased that you took advantage of this. We have taken a lot of time to put together an information folder to help direct guests to good places to go. As we visit Sardinia on a regular basis throughout the year, we constantly update this, so love it when we get feedback on restaraunts and locations. Fantastic Beaches ! The apartment was just amazing... clean, comfortable, very good situation, great pool, quiet and an amazing terrace and a terrific view !!! We particularly like the blue book with all the information about the beaches, towns and restaurants. Also the chairs, umbrella for the beach was very appreciated. The milk, water and bottle of white wine was really appreciated too The apartment was very well equipped ! Thanks very much, we had great time in the beautiful Costa Smeralda ! Stevie

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.

Easy quick and safe payment via bank electronic transfer which allows for a 'real time' paper trail.

Please note that the price quoted INCLUDES linen, towels and final clean. Any additional linen and towels, and cleaning can be arranged locally, and paid for in Euros direct to our representative. You need to take your own swimming towels.

The only extra charge is for optional air conditioning/heating, which is available at a cost of £50 per week, unfortunately we have to charge this due to the high cost of electricity.

Breakage deposit of £200 payable with the final balance, and returned when the apartment has been checked, and you are home.

There is a cot and high chair available at no extra charge, but it must be requested at time of booking.

Booking Notes:
The apartment is generally booked for full weeks, but we will consider shorter breaks out of season.

Changeover Day:
During the high season July and August changeover day is Saturday, but it is always worth checking to see if we have flexibility out of the main season.

Arrival after 2pm, departure before 10am.

Deposit of 50% payable at time of booking (non refundable) with the balance due one month before departure.

For early bookings received before December 1st, a reduced initial deposit of 25% payable at the time of booking (non refundable), then 25% on January 1st, with the final balance and breakage deposit payable one month before departure.
