This Morningside apartment was originally part of an 1820 Georgian house, historically serving as the kitchen to the main house. Now, completely refurbished in 2017, it has been transformed into a separate and charming 2 bedroom apartment with its own entrance and outside space. The interior of the apartment is tastefully fitted out with a mixture of old and new furnishings and is kept in pristine condition by its current owners. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds with high quality Egyptian cotton bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped with an all electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer and dining space. There is a large sitting room complete with television and a wood burning stove for cosy evenings in the winter. The bathroom has a bath and shower with constant hot water and luxury cotton towels. There is gas central heating throughout and Wifi . The apartment is located in the heart of the Morningside District of Edinburgh, only 2km from the city centre. Morningside is a leafy, vibrant and friendly neighbourhood with plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent shops. With fantastic bus and transport links to the city centre it makes an ideal base to explore this wonderful city. Parking space is available on request.
Beautiful, cosy 2-bed flat in Morningside- great location and fantastic reviews

Well maintained, everything I would possibly need for a short stay away.
Fabulous property. Nice touches with wine, bread, butter, milk provided. Tea and fresh coffee also provided. Off road parking was a bonus as we usually stay on Royal Mile which is a nightmare to park on. Local buses only a short trip into City Centre. Only cost £1.70 per adult per trip. The number 11, 15 and 16 buses are caught on the corner opposite the property and take around 15 minutes to town. If you fancy a pub meal, the Merlin pub is only a short walk on the main road - opposite Waitrose. It is although, a nice walk to town but we were a bit time starved. Beautifully decorated property and the kitchen had washing machine and dishwasher. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer provided. To be honest, if I could have moved in I would have...the photos on the website do not do this property justice. The four of us had no complaints, even little niggles, at all.
Great accommodation in perfect location!
Had a great 4 days in Edinburgh made all the better by this splendid accommodation. Staying in hotels is a pain when you have children, and so nice to have separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen for those evenings when you don’t want to go out. We have always loved Morningside, so great to find somewhere in the centre of it all! Nikki and Patrick are excellent hosts and will be recommending to family and friends.
Amazing accommodation - comfortable, beautiful, everything we needed was there plus some treats
Highly recommended. Great location too. Must try local cinema.
Lovely home from home
Our stay was perfect ! The flat is lovely ,being peacefully set back from the road with ample parking. It really was very welcoming and every attention to detail made to make our stay so comfortable.Wonderful welcome in the kitchen with many treats was so appreciated after a long journey.Morningside is on the doorstep with access to Edinburgh by easy bus or we enjoyed walking and mooching in the lovely independent shops and cafes along the way.
Really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend and love to return.
Excellent accommodation; generous and professional hosts; meticulous attention to detail.
The flat is spacious, spotless, well equipped and tastefully appointed. The wood burning stove in the sitting room was a delightful bonus and came with ample wood and kindling. This, and the efficient central heating, meant the place was cosy and welcoming. The fridge was stocked with milk and butter and there was bread, fresh coffee, wine and homemade marmalade. All in all we felt very much at home and would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
The only thing wrong with our stay was it wasn’t long enough. The flat was just lovely. The bread, butter, marmalade, tea cakes and Wine that the owners left for us was a lovely surprise. It was really easy to get the bus into Edinburgh centre. We had a great night at the local cinema sitting in recliner sofas with table service. Would love to stay here again.
