Idyllic quiet retreat
Lovely house with a huge garden hidden away from everything. The estuary is only a 20 minute walk away where you can enjoy a quiet walk along the sea. Other towns are a short drive away. Overall a great place for a quiet escape.
The house is situated in a lovely area just west of Felixstowe in a beautiful village. We hired the house so our daughter and her bridesmaids could prepare for her wedding day the night before. Unfortunately the central heating was not as hot as we had hoped but that was because there was a technical problem which was being looked into. However the host was lovely and supplied extra heaters to make sure we're were comfortable. The views from all around are superb and had a herd of deer in the field most morning. A lovely stay, thank you.
Very charming cottage with huge garden
The property was well equipped and very hygienic. The CH did not work well, but the extra electrical heaters made sure the house was warm enough.
We made many nice walking tours and enjoyed beach and nature. Even got to see deer in the field.

Lovely country cottage
A group of 6 of us (3 couples) stayed here for a weekend getwaway. The cottage was lovely, and was the perfect size for our group. The cottage is very clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed.
It was absolutely wonderful. The location is quiet and private with the most beautiful garden in.
There are endles footpaths to walk including down to the river or to Goslings for a great breakfast. The house was clean and well prepared. We had four adults and a child and it was simply perfect! The apple tree was a great plus in October!!
We are always delighted to hear back from guests. Thank-you for taking the trouble to let us know how much you enjoyed staying at our cottage.
