Apple Tree Cottage is a superb detached building which has been completely renovated after many years of neglect. The fully furnished‚ central heated cottage has an entrance hall with access to the first floor and a cloakroom with WC and hand basin. The lounge/diner is furnished with a convertible bed settee‚ easy chair and fold away dining table and chairs‚ a flat-screen TV with free-view and DVD/CD player. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with electric cooker‚ microwave‚ fridge/freezer‚ washer/dryer‚ and a fully enclosed drying room leading on to a small patio with a lawn. The patio is equipped with garden furniture and barbecue. The first floor bedroom has a super-king size bed‚ wardrobe and dressing table‚ with an en suite shower room fitted with a overhead shower‚ wash basin‚ WC‚ heated towel rail and airing cupboard. There is off road parking for one car.

Very cosy cottage

Apple Tree Cottage makes an excellent refuge from the horrible February weather. It was lovely and warm with copious amounts of hot water. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped with a good supply of essentials - foil, cling film, etc which are always so handy when self catering. Upstairs, the king size bed was very comfortable, the shower room was beautifully clean and the towels huge and fluffy.

In the locality, the pub was just around the corner - very welcoming with a great log burner. We were sad, though, to find that the local shop had closed.

Very quiet and homely.

The owners were very pleasant and welcoming, lovely little cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway... really wish they had added a bath though as there is plenty of room in the bathroom for one and it would of been the perfect wind down at the end of the day.

Lovely cottage in picture perfect village

We had a fantastic stay in Apple Tree Cottage, it felt very homely and cosy and had very clear information about our stay. Tom and Mary were both so helpful and really friendly. We would definitely recommend visiting Minterne Magna gardens. It was an overall wonderful trip and we wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else!

very clean well maintained cottage for 2 persons

We enjoyed our stay at Mary and Tom's cottage.

The cottage is very clean and well maintained and has all amenities one would expect.

Tom and Mary were very friendly and helpful when we had a question.

The cottage is perfect for 2 persons, in a quiet neigbourhood, close to the a railway line, but not at all disturbing.

We can only recommend this cottage, if you are looking for a stay in Yeovil area.
