A very good experience

  • 4 of 5

Overall, this was very good. The folks at Halldis were great, very helpful. The location is really fantastic, as it's a 20-25 minute walk to Notre Dame, Invalides, Rodin Museum, and the list goes on. While we took advantage of the restaurants on Saint Germain, it was great to be able to cook light meals when we didn't want to go out. With two hotels, and a number of the apartments on the street being vacation rentals, there was a fair amount of noise. But as I said, you couldn't ask for a more central location.

The apartment itself was very nice, spacious for the two of us, and we were there for almost 2 weeks.

Great location and cute place

  • 5 of 5

This little flat is very well-located, and nicely decorated. The size is perfect for 2 people. It was very hot during our stay, but the flat cooled down quickly with the big windows and a fan.

Booking and checking out were very easy, and the Halldis team was responsive when we had a minor issue with one of the keys.

There is room for improvement in the kitchen - there are very few utensils (not even a full size knife) to cook with, and not many plates or glasses either (it was fine for 2 people but would be a challenge for more).

But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place.

Small but All the Mod Cons

  • 5 of 5

From a US standpoint, this is a tiny place; but it has everything you need, including a fabulous shower, plenty of storage, and a great location. There are plenty of Metro and bus stops nearby and plenty of taxis a long block away. I couldn't have been more pleased, and the service provided included a timely meeting and help arranging a taxi for an early morning exit. Usually quiet at night, occasionally there were noisy revelers but they drifted into the night quickly. Trash pickup, however, seemed to be daily and broke the sound barrier. I'll happily stay here again when I return to Paris..
