7 Bedroom Themed Home With Large Pool Deck.
As hosts, we simply do not like having open days. So, you can benefit from our desire to keep the home booked. We have knocked our prices down in March and April for the open slots to a mere $218/night. This is a seven bedroom private, immaculately decorated home in a gated community just a few miles from WDW. Why pay for a hotel when you can rent a dream house?
Our lovely home will never let you forget that you are on the best vacation of your life. The bedrooms are themed so that both young and old will love staying in them.
You can relax on our pool deck while enjoying a nice meal outside with your family. Our pool deck is so large that we had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and had 50 people there to celebrate with us.
The hot tub runs on a separate gas heater than the pool, so that you can climb in and let the stress of the day be 'bubbled' away within minutes after turning in on. The huge lanai with ceiling fan allows you to relax on even the hottest day whether you are drinking a cup of java at the beautiful wicker table or snoozing on one of the comfortable pool chairs.
When we stay here, we love to enjoy either grilling burgers on the pool deck or eating a nice meal inside. That is why in 2016 we have added all stainless steel appliances, installed laminated wood floors upstairs, and refinished our pool. We also hate wasting time doing the 'chores' when we could be enjoying the parks, so we purchased an extra capacity washing and drying machine to speed things up.
We have seven bedrooms. There are two king rooms with a king sized bed and private bathroom. One of the rooms is a queen sized bed and three of them are twin bedrooms. Each twin bedroom has two twin beds in it.
Our children helped us decide on the themes. My youngest daughter loves Frozen, so in one bedroom we have a frozen theme. Princess carriage beds beside a huge wall mural that has all the best characters. Kristoff is playing a guitar for Olaf to sing while the princesses enjoy the concert. We have princess dolls on each bed so girls can fall asleep hugging them. The closet has both room to hand clothes and a pretty dresser to help you feel at home instead of living out of a suitcase. All of the bedrooms have dressers and closet space.
My older daughters love Harry Potter. Therefore, we made one room themed after Harry Potter. The walls have school insignias on them. There are also quotes from the books and the spell for on/off on the light switch. This nice touch was my daughter's favorite thing about the room.
When my sons were smaller, they fell in love with Cars. So, we made one room themed for Cars. The dresser in this room is a small toolbox. There is a racing signal light on it, flashing red, yellow and green. The beds themselves are little racing cars and look like they leapt out of the wall mural of the race behind them. The curtains, pillow cases and comforters all maintain the magic.
Continuing upstairs, there is a Queen room. This room has soft colors and a queen bed for relaxing. We thought this room would work well for older, 'more sophisticated' children. :)
The upstairs King Room is patterned after the beach. I told you that we loved the beach. This room makes you feel and think that you are actually on the ocean. There is a huge wall mural of white sand and palm trees, along with seashell lamps and real seashells around in jars. The bright comforter adds to the joy of being outside while in the air conditioning. Even the bathroom continues the theme with sandals for towel holders and a surfing shower curtain.
The final room upstairs is the Star Wars Room. Since we do not personally need this room when we stay here, we made it into an entertainment room with a gaming system. The Star Wars mural has all the characters from the first six movies. There are a couple of retro posters on the wall as well as the infamous saying, "A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." scrolling up on the wall.
The King bedroom downstairs was designed by my wife. For our 30th wedding anniversary we went to Europe and my wife and I both fell in love with Paris, France. The room creates the emotion of staying in Paris, with an Eiffel tower theme throughout the bedroom and the bathroom.
We can easily sleep 14 people, great for large families or for multiple families vacationing together.
In our garage, we have an air hockey table, a pool table and a dart board. We also provide strollers for your use, and a port-a-crib for the tiny Disney lovers.
Our location is fantastic for everything that the Orlando area has to offer. We are minutes from Disney. We are actually the closest gated community to WDW that is no on Disney property. It is almost like being on Disney property without being locked into a total Disney holiday. If you feel like going to Universal or Sea World, hop in your car and you can be there in about 20 minutes.
If you want to enjoy a night eating out instead of cooking in our beautiful kitchen, we are literally minutes away from every ethnic food you can imagine. Our location puts you within miles of any fast food, medium or expensive restaurants. We were there for a few months in 2016, so we decided to eat at a different place every 'date night'. For our entire marriage we have gone out at least one night a week on a date. In four months, we never ate at the same place twice and never had to drive more than 20 minutes. The location is so fantastic.
If you are a shopper, there are outlet malls, strip malls and normal shopping malls all an easy drive away.
We love the beach. My son and daughter in law live in Clearwater Beach so when we are in the States we visit them often. Just take I-4 west and you are there in a little over an hour, enjoying the calm waves and white sands of what was voted Florida's Number One Beach in 2016. If you like more adventure, then head to Port Canaveral to the east. It is slightly closer and offers surfing and wind-surfing. We are close to Universal and Sea World, and easy drive to water parks and tons of shopping opportunities.

About Joe and Denise Holman
Hello! Thank you for considering our home! We are a little different from most of the owners in this area because this really is actually our home, it is where we live when we are in the United States. This is it. That is why everywhere you look you will see tender, loving care. So, who are we? We are a normal, fun-loving couple with 11 kids...yes, you read that correctly. We have 11 children. That is why we know what kids like, and why we love Disney. My job required that my family move out of the USA, so we packed up our bags and moved to South America where we rent a small home way up high in the Andes Mountains. We purchased this home in Emerald Island so that we can have an anchor. It is our connection to 'home' in the States. We vacation here. Our older children who now live in the States (WV, DC, and FL) can also vacation here. In a nutshell, we know the importance of a great vacation, probably more than most. Every two and a half years we come back to the States with the entire family, and this is the home we come to. Disney in our backyard, fun all around us, and memories to be made. I know that you will love our home because we sincerely want to do whatever it takes to make this vacation your best one ever. Your children deserve the memories.
Why Joe and Denise Holman chose Four Corners
We have been coming to WDW since 1992. I honestly do not know how many times we have been here. Due to our frequent vacations, we discovered a few little 'secrets' to having a great time. First of all, staying close to the property, but not on the property. Being close means that you don't spend precious vacation time on the road every day, yet being off property gives you tremendous freedom in food and other choices. That is another key to having a great time. We wanted a place that was close to shopping (Target is a few minutes away) and an easy drive to multiple food choices. A third reason that we chose this property was the resort itself. We wanted activities for everyone to be able to participate in on those 'non-Disney' days. Our resort has a beautiful hiking/jogging trail, gym, pool, hot tub, game room, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and a sauna...and that is just the beginning. Emerald Island is also uber-safe with 24/7 guards and its one-way in/out access. The final reason...just look around. It is beautiful.
What makes this House unique
When we were looking for a property, being close to Disney was a huge bonus, but not the only thing. We wanted privacy as well. You will notice that when you are swimming, none of the neighbors can see you. We also love relaxing outside. Our covered lanai give ample shade, and our real estate agent told us that our pool deck is the largest in Emerald Island. Even when the resort is full, you feel like you are in your own little resort when you open the back door and sit by the pool. We also wanted a place that 'felt' like home--but had the pizazz of Disney. You will agree that the soft colors, the paintings, furniture and rugs all give our home the feel of a 'home' not of an institution or even a museum. In order to get the pizazz, we asked our kids how they would like their rooms decorated. Their input helped us as we chose to decorate the twin rooms in our Harry Potter, Cars, and Frozen themes. Denise and I love Paris, so we made our room, the downstairs king, have a Paris Theme. We also love the beach, so we made one of the upstairs rooms with a beach theme. Our six boys wanted the Star Wars that you see in the game room. Remember, it is our house. :) Our central location also makes it an easy and fun drive to the beach. If you want waves, head east one hour for Cocoa Beach. If your children are younger and you want calmer waters with a family beach, head west to Clearwater, about an hour and a half away.

Huge house that met all of our needs and more
This place is huge....seven bedrooms and it met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. Our children loved the decorated rooms in the themes of Cars, Frozen, Star Wars and Harry Potter. The three other bedrooms were very nicely decorated as well as the rest of the house. It was well stocked with plenty of dishes, towels, extra bedding and even beach towels and coolers. I saw a portacrib, highchair, and strollers too even though we didn't have anyone small enough to use those. This was by far the best house we've stayed in in all of our 30 years of going to Disney World. We are so glad we found it and we will definitely be back. Oh yeah, and my favorite part was the pool and hot tub area. There was plenty of shade, room for dining around the table, and lots of sunning chairs and even more sitting chairs. Thanks Joe and Denise for a great stay.
So glad that you had an awesome time! Please come back.
Beautiful, Clean, and close to Disney!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florida. This home was absolutely a perfect fit for our vacation, as we had quick (less than 30 minutes!!) access to Disney as well as the beach (Clearwater beach is about two hours away, perfect for a day trip!). Also, the community where the house is located is close to shopping and many fantastic restaurants.
Thank you so much for your kind review of our home. We love hearing how our guests had a terrific vacation while staying there. We hope that you are able to come back one day. We'll even give you a discount as a return guest.
Our holiday was absolutely marvelous because of this property and the Holmans.
Pros: Almost everything. The location. The home decor. The resort. Most of all, the communication with Denise. She answered every email within hours, responded instantly to our text.
Cons: The pool was not heated when we arrived, although it was supposed to be. Emailed and texted Denise. She contacted their management company, who had made the error. Someone came out within hours. Although the pool heat was free, so we did not lose any money, Denise sent us $75 to eat out as an apology, so even our con became a pro.
Next time we return to WDW, we will be renting this property again.
Your review made my day/week. Thank you. We love hearing that our guests loved their stay here.
Would stay here again.
I would bring my family here again. Some things not mentioned is that there is a Blu ray player in the living room with a drawer full of children's movies. Very nice!
You should know that the spa is NOT a hot tub. Not being from Florida, I did not know there was a difference.
There were some minor housekeeping issues when we checked in. The owner immediately responded via text. The issues were corrected by the management company the next day.
The only negative issue is that you can't check in until 4pm. If you find a problem then the local management team only responds to non emergency problems until 5pm. I contacted them at 4:10 pm and they could not respond that day.
But again I received 5 star service because of the owner's quick response and remedy to unforeseen circumstances.
Thank you for your good review. I am sorry about the hiccup At the beginning. I am glad that they got worked out.
Next time you come, if possible we will get you an early check in. We have had several comments about this. It is our management company that has this policy, but we think we have a "work around" that might work. :)
Please excuse typos. Typing on my device without my glasses. 😀
Our location is fantastic for everything that the Orlando area has to offer. We are minutes from Disney, close to Universal and Sea World, and easy drive to water parks and tons of shopping opportunities.
