This traditional flint character cottage is located in a picturesque setting, just yards from The Quay. The Cabin has fabulous, homely accommodation and is perfect for family holidays, adults looking a coastal getaway, dog lovers, birdwatchers and walkers.
A much-loved family holiday home for many years, this charming and welcoming cottage is now available for others to enjoy. The cottage has plenty to offer that will appeal to a wide variety of holidaymakers. Well-equipped and comfortably furnished throughout in an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional style, there is a cosy sitting room, galley style kitchen, a separate dining room which overlooks the lovely sunny courtyard garden, and a shower room to the ground floor. On the first floor (the stairs are straight, but you do need to watch your head!) there are three bedrooms (a double and two twins) and a family bathroom.
Although The Cabin is set right in the heart of this very popular coastal town and just minutes from the many local amenities cafe's and restaurants, it is quietly tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of The Quay in a peaceful residential backwater. One of the absolute delights of the cottage is its pretty and surprisingly spacious 'secret' courtyard walled garden - a great spot for enjoying a relaxing breakfast in the morning sun, or drinks and dining alfresco on a warm summer's evening when everyone can catch up with all the day's events. Access to the adjoining garage is an added bonus in this busy town where parking is at a premium, especially in the summer months.
From the front door you can see down to the sea and The Quay. Here you can do a spot of crabbing or 'gillying', sample some of the best fish and chips around, or join the North Norfolk Coastal Path and take a leisurely stroll to Wells beach with its wonderful array of colourful beach huts, stopping at the Beach Cafe on the way. Recently voted the best-dog friendly cafe, it is a must if you a bringing your four-legged friend with you on holiday!
If you want to explore further afield and leave the car behind, take the Coasthopper bus - there are two bus stops in the town - which will take you to all the coastal villages from Cromer to Hunstanton.
