This is an annex, with its own private entrance, which is attached to a large, detached house. The flat has been refurbished to a good standard with comfortable furnishings and a good range of equipment. It is situated a short walk away from Tuckton for local shops, cafes and riverside walks or Southbourne High Street for shops, restaurants and amenities. The seafront is also a very short drive away for access to the promenade and miles of safe, clean sandy beaches. This property is also within easy reach of Bournemouth and Christchurch town centres for a wide variety of family entertainment and tourist attractions. This is ideal holiday accommodation for a couple.

small appartment in a lovely environment

Clean and small but everything we needed was there. When we arrived it was very cold inside but when we asked the neighbour we had heating. It is a bit dark inside but furniture is nice. There are many nice excursions to make in the nearby area. Lots of things to see and do!

Car: not necessary

Southbourne-On-Sea is a suburb of Bournemouth, located between Boscombe and Christchurch. Although still considered an integral part of Bournemouth and its surrounding areas, Southbourne-On-Sea offers a more peaceful holiday environment.

As a distinct seaside resort, the suburb is home to the award-winning clean and sandy beaches which stretch for miles along the coast, perfect for a day of relaxation on the beach, and a walk along the promenade. A particular pleasant attraction is the feature of Southbourne-On-Sea is the Fisherman’s Walk Cliff Railway, a funicular railway between the cliff top coastal road and the promenade and beach, a perfect opportunity to leisurely explore the surrounding areas. Along the main high-street, Southbourne offers plenty of local amenities including supermarkets, hairdressers, a butcher, a bakery, a post office and numerous cafes which offer delicious snacks throughout the day.

Situated close to the quieter part of Southbourne-On-Sea, Tuckton village is a pretty part of Dorset which harbours a great location for those who wish to stay in the quieter parts, whilst still remaining fairly central. As well as offering an array of local amenities, Tuckton has both takeaways and restaurants if you wish to eat out of an evening. Tuckton is particularly known for its easy access to the local beautiful scenery that can be seen via foot, such as its scenic walks along the River Stour up to well-known Hengistbury Head, stopping off at The Tuckton Tea Gardens for a break.

For the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas, Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve is a short fifteen minutes drive away, a great area to explore the local wildlife and is particularly enjoyable for avid bird watchers.
