The Ashover Audio Trail can be downloaded and followed around the village bringing it to life, and the popular Ashover Show takes place every August.Further afield, the Peak District National Park and surrounding area holds a whole host of attractions and places to visit, including Matlock, Matlock Bath and the superb cable car ride to the Heights of Abraham, all are just 15 minutes away. The ever popular market town of Bakewell, home to the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, and Carsington Water with its watersports and cycle hire, can be reached within a 30-minute drive.
