Meg’s Cottage, one of two detached properties, is nestled within the picturesque village of Chatton. It is found situated between the wild, heather topped expanses of the Cheviot Hills to the west and the Heritage coastline to the east. Chatton Trout Fishery invites amateur anglers to fish without a rod licence in its well-stocked 4-acre lake, close by. The small friendly town of Wooler (known locally as Glendale; the inspiration for ‘Postman Pat’s Greendale), is only 5 miles inland. This is a popular destination for those who enjoy cycling, golf, horse riding and walking – the challenging route of the ‘St Cuthbert’s Way’ runs close by. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards. Meg’s Cottage is situated adjacent to Jenny’s Cottage (ref: UK3075), which can be booked independently or together to accommodate up to 7 guests. Please note: Meg’s Cottage is suitable for one family, as the only shower room is en-suite to the double bedroom.
