A modern central London apartment that is suitable for 12 Guests.
Easy flat to experience london
The flat is ideal for accessing centre London, easy walk to Paddington station and long walks around Hyde Park. Lots of shops and good restaurants nearby. Need to say that while flat is on Westbourne Terrace the entrance is on Cleveland terrace, helps taxi driver to find it.
There were 5 of us, that's why we went for four bedrooms, and a double settee bed in the sitting room. Ideal layout, and for the price is good value for the area, and we did enjoy our stay, flat was warm and comfortable.
Three of the bedrooms over look the roads, but unless windows are open, it is barely noticeable, apart from ambulances and police cars, but then being in London and near an A&E hospital, it wasn't unexpected.
One Bedroom like the sitting room has no windows, so we moved dining chairs into one of the front bedrooms during morning to sit in sunshine.
Would stay here again as it is so convenient.
But a few negatives, overall the flat looks as if they are in the middle of refitting the kitchen, but like the bathroom, could do with a deep clean and the gaps in tiles and wood surrounds need finishing.
Shower is in bath, water is really hot, but the bath itself, is stained.
When opening the settee bed it was full of crumbs. Two sections of laminate flooring are chipped.
The flat says upto 12, but seating at table is for 8 And one large settee in sitting room. So had to sit on dining chairs. As we were out and about most of the time , it was only a problem for some of the time.
Access is via a lift to second floor and steep stairs to upper floor, my mother (84) found the last few steps difficult.
But overall while there are negatives the are also a lot of positives, would stay here again as it has everything we need and is so convenient.
