No House, 3 Apartments/ very dirty
We had booked four nights at that place close to kilcrohane. We were sure to have booked a house, but found a house with three apartments out of which we got the middle one, that had no window downstairs that faced the beautiful view to the Atlantic Ocean. Only the door. The other two apartments have two windows.
However, our neighbour guests were also surprised to not be alone in that house.
We had spiders everywhere (ceiling, closet, in kitchen cupboards), plus a very big one in the bathroom. Spiderwebs and dirt everywhere, a dirty pan in the sink, one broken pot. old and dirty stove and oven and spatulas that we did not want to use, old and dirty carpets, floors and windows that were so dirty that you could almost not see through them.
The towels in the bathroom and kitchen and the bedclothes were not dirty, but did not smell freshly.
We did not know where to leave our garbage since there was nowhere to put it (no dustbin outside), so we packed two bags and left it there.
The bank in fornt of the door was loose, it is only a matter of time until it breaks. We were glad to be gone and find a nice, dry, clean and cosy bed in our next B&B.
Very expensive for that dirty apartment. One out of five stars for the amazing view from the terrace.
We took pictures that we would have liked to show here or to the owner. So it would be nice if the customer service here would contact us. Thank you.
This was a lovely flat with an amazing view. The drive out to it is a bit long, but it's along a beautiful coast the whole way, so it feels short. The room was clean and well kept, and came with WiFi. We felt cozy and welcome here.
