A fully fitted kitchen with laundry room open to front private terrace with BBQ. BBQ starter pack supplied. Master bedroom with en-suite walk-in shower; large twin bedded room; family bathroom with shower over the tub. Bug screens, ceiling fan in both bedrooms. Completely remodeled autumn 2016. Fully equipped.
Safe, quiet location perfect for a relaxing holiday, and within walking distance of Caleta resort. Looks out onto the mountains with glorious sunsets: has a rural ambiance while being minutes from the centre of activity. Golf on the doorstep, and we can put you in touch with Ex-pat golfing societies. Men's clubs available.
Sun loungers and patio furniture provided. The communal pool for Las Rocas use only, has a full size pool, childrens pool, showers and plenty of loungers.
Near Atlantico shopping centre, beaches and cafes. Spanish language cinema, bowling alley, pool tables, amusements, children's play area,bank, ATMs, hairdresser, and shops with regular organised events, music and activities.
Large Eurospar supermarket with specialist counters: meat, cold meats, fish, cheeses, good wine selection, and some UK brands.
Courtesy bus almost hourly to Atlantico and Caleta.
Basic groceries and toiletries provided so you con't have to rush off immediately to supermarket.
We provide beach towels,harirdryers, picnic cool bag & beach parasols which saves on your luggage weight. Several books, pack of cards, and selection of DVDs provided. Wide selection of tourist materials and information on local activities supplied.
Approx 15 mins from airport means your holiday can start promptly. Taxi cost approx €15. A car is not necessary but if desired, we can put you in touch with a car hire firm that will meet you in the airport carpark.
Wide selection of restaurants and bars in Caleta offer a range of cuisines; many bars and hotels provide complementary evening entertainment.
Beach activities free of charge during the summer season.
Local craft fair weekly and flea market twice-weekly in Caleta.
As we live upstairs, we are on hand for information and assistance if required: otherwise our property managers will help you settle in with explanations as to how everything works and how to find your way about.

About Aileen & Martin
My husband Martin and I bought our apartment in Las Rocas a decade ago. Now that we have retired we are, happily, able to spend a large part of the year in this beautiful island. "Home" when we are not in Las Rocas, is Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. I am originally from Co. Antrim and Martin is from Co. Roscommon. We worked in Dublin for many years and moved to Enniskillen in 2000.

Why Aileen & Martin chose Antigua
In the summer of 2016 we purchased 134 Las Rocas which had been vacant for many years. It is directly underneath our own house. We remodeled and refurbished it entirely, using our own experience of 10 years here to maximise its potential. We hope you will get as much enjoyment out of your visit to the apartment as we have had in lovingly restoring it.
What makes this Apartment unique
To describe 134 Las Rocas as an apartment is a dis-service - it is more like a house in terms of size and facilities. Not like your average holiday apartment, it is a self contained unit with private garden/terraces front and back, and large airy rooms. It has the benefit of having great up-stair neighbours,though! There is a community feel to the place, and it is so tranquil, yet is within easy reach of the action of Caleta and excursions throughout the rest of the island.

Excellent two bedroom apartment in the quiet Las Rochas villa complex.
We stayed for 10 days over Easter and loved every minute. The villa is located in a very quiet area on the edge of the Campo do Golf near Caleta de Fuste.
The master bedroom has an en suite shower and toilet. There is also a main bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a choice of two dining areas. One in the lounge and another in the dining room.
Outside you can choose to sunbathe or relax in the shade and there is also a bbq.
The communal swimming pools were perfect for cooling off during the hot weather.
You don't need a rental car as there is a free bus service from the nearby hotel. This takes you straight to the beach and shopping centre.
From there you can catch another bus to other parts of the island. Corralejo and the sand dunes were our favourites after Caleta.
The villa has a full kitchen and utility room facilities so you don't need to bring everything with you. We managed with just carry on luggage on the plane.
You have the choice of eating in or going out for meals. We often ate in as the local supermarket was fine. If you have a car then we recommend going to lidl as it is a lot cheaper.
For meals out then the Hong Kong Chinese is very good as is El Faro Portuguese restaurant
