Close to award winning Beach, Sea, 2 Restaurants. Get away from it all feeling. Yet Lagos centre is only a 20 Minute walk away, short Bus ride, cheap Taxi @ 8 Euro for shopping. Lagos has a Marina, spoiled for craft shops, galleries, history, markets, restaurants, dolphin watching, all water sports. Top Floor Apartment -fast modern elevator to Apartment Door.

Great apartment in beautiful Porto de Mos

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in beautiful Porto de Mos. It worked really well for our two teenagers and seven year old, who seemed to live in the small jacuzzi pool! The apartment is conveniently located approximately 5 minutes walk to the beach. The apartment itself was well managed and furnished to a very high standard with all the home comforts needed for a relaxing holiday. We found the built in BBQ on the rear balcolony particularly useful and the lift to the third floor was also welcomed!! There was also plenty of plates, glasses, and cook-ware etc for nights when we ate in and a large fridge for storing beer and wine!

Porto de Mos itself has a two beach restaurants both serving excellent food. Antonios tends to be busier so we would recommend booking a table in advance particularly if you want to dine outside ( don't forget a jacket or cardigan though as it can get a bit chilly late evening!). There is a bus service to Lagos but we would recommend hiring a car to get out and about to explore further afield. It would be a good 40 minute walk in to Lagos.

We had an excellent holiday and would definitely recommend the apartment.

Port dos Mos Apartments

Despite arriving early, Luiz allowed us to gain access to the apartment as soon as we arrived. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and very well kitted out. The area of Port dos Mos is quite quiet which is just what we wanted! There are 2 restaurants on the beach (5-10min walk) which are v.family friendly and good value. The nearest shop (Intermarché) is approx 1.5mile away and has everything you'll need.

We spent a lovely week here in late May going between the beach, the pool and Lagos town centre and would recommend it to anyone.

Really enjoyable holiday

We have been to Porto de Mos twice and we stayed in Sea View Gem and the Sea View Jewel apartments. The apartments are beautifully finished and very comfortable with great views of the sea and surrounding cliff tops. It offered us great privacy with 2 balconies and private swimming pool area, there are also many of the comforts of home with wifi and English speaking TV channels. We were only a few minutes walk from the beach and a choice of 2 beachfront restaurants.

Lagos is a lovely old town with cobbled streets and a beautiful promenade and harbour. We spent a lot of time strolling through the town, going through shops and restaurants. Lagos harbour is beautiful, there is a great choice of boats trips on offer, from sightseeing tours of cliffs to dolphin watching, we chose to go on the tours of the cliffs and were not disappointed. It's also very reasonably priced. The lighthouse in Lagos is just a few minutes drive from the apartment and is the perfect place to watch the sun setting over the cliffs.

We would also highly recommend the cliff top walk, which starts out at Porto de Mos beach and continues to Praia de Luz. There is some amazing scenery and views.

The beach is a short stroll away and has everything you could want, food and drink available in nearby restraunts, lovely calm blue ocean plenty of space for relaxing in the sun or for children to play.

We also visited the Zoo Marine, it was a great way to spend an afternoon especially for families. We especially enjoyed the dolphin shows.

Portimao race circuit is just 20 minute drive away. When we were there, there was a Porsche track day taking place, we paid an entrance fee of €5 for access into the paddock. Here we able to watch the cars on track, see the pits and see the cars up close. I would highly recommend this. There are also "track experiences" and go karting available to try.

We hired a car and spent a couple of days touring around the countryside as we felt we had the perfect base to see a lot of the Algarve. We travelled through many of the smaller towns in the area, went to Monchique (mountain), which offered us fab views of the Algarve and went to Cape St Vincent (Europes most westerly point). We also travelled to Albuferia, spent time on the beach and went shopping in Aqua shopping centre.

All in all we had a great holiday on both occasions and would not hesitate to use them again.

Very nice Penthouse apartment within short walking distance to the beach - but construction side

We - Family with two kids (15 & 19) - stayed 5 days at the penthouse apartment. Instead of getting apartment 3A, we got the identical 3B. The apartment was really very well equipped. Everything for our stay was organised by Paul and he was very flexible allowing us to get an early check in. Thanks for that! This was highly appreciated.

There are two issue, which cause us to "only" give 4 STARS. Opposite of the appartment, a new apartment complex is just being build. Subsequently you have some noice from the construction side and there is no real view of the ocean any longer. (The pictures shown on the Internet need to be updated). Furthermore the fixation of the dishwasher was loose which needs to be repaired.

The beach as well as Lagos are very nice.

Bottom line: Overall good location and within walking distance to the beach, nice apartment, very competent Agent but..... construction side next door and no real view to the ocean

Owner's Response: Thanks for your positive Review of Apartment, its' great Location, Beach and Lagos town - but with 2 negatives mentioned. First one - dishwasher fixing we will rectify immediately. Second one - the Ocean view - yes 50% on Right side has now been blocked by new Apartment Block, left view is NOT affected. Once the new Block has been completed, painted and gardens developed - we will indeed get a new Photo shoot done. These works should be fully completed by April 2018. All other views to the Front and sides of apartment remains as they always were. Warm regards & Thanks,

This Penthouse apartment is on the Top Floor.

It has views of the surrounding area from it's balcony, with al fresco dining and BBQ.

The apartment is 300 metres from the Sea, restaurants and bar.

Bus service into Lagos every 30 Minutes - bus stop is close to Beach area. Beside this area - you also have a Picnic Are + Football Pitch.

Lagos' fish restaurants, shops, hairdressers, Municipal Market ( fruits, veg, fish and meats), churches,museums,

Marina and the beautiful sea promenade (stretches along the seafront for a few kilometres) is a short walk away.

Taxis are extremely cheap and bring you to the centre of Lagos for 5 Euro.

Water parks are located on the A 22 motorway and buses go there almost every hour.

Golf courses abound in the area - boa Vista, Alto, Penina, etc.

Full map of golf courses are shown on our home website, together with a things to do list, restaurants, water parks, etc.

Situated 300 Metres from Porto do Mos beach.

It is a seaside suburb of Lagos - with Bus connections to Lagos from the Beach front.
