Very nice place
Overall very nice and quiet place. Very pleased with Chris and his family. Kids loved the place and can recommend for a good experience to visit this barn.
Thanks Meera it was lovely to meet you
A very peaceful place to stay. A real away from it all break.
Everything you need for a very quiet and peaceful rest. A warm welcome awaited us. There was everything we needed in the barn.
Thanks Carolyn, you're always welcome!
We chose this property because of its tranquil location, in touch with the nature. The site and surrounding countryside was beautiful, the sound of birds, lambs and stream adding to its magic.
The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom with bunk beds for all of us was fun and loved by our children! The property was as described.
We were warmly welcomed by Chris and showed around and adviced on local walks etc. We had great walks in the area as well as exploring pretty Ludlow, Bishops Castle and stunning hills of Long Mynd.
Left inspired by Chris and Looby' s work and life philosophy. Thank you for our lovely stay.
A lovely tranquil location
We really enjoyed our stay at Waterloo Farm. It was a very warm welcome on arrival, and we were shown around the very large and pleasant grounds, including a sheep field and small lake, which we were invited to wander whenever we liked. The location is close to Ludlow, which is a historic town with many interesting shops, along with its castle which is quite reasonably priced to visit. We also visited Croft Castle and Berrington Hall which are National Trust properties. We also took a trip to Knighton to take a walk along Offa's Dyke, which had some excellent views. All in all, we really enjoyed our trip and it was a welcome break from technology, which meant we spent some quality time as a family.
Thanks Ben - I hope all our future visitors are as enjoyable & easy as you and your family!
Historic Ludlow is just 6 miles away with its famous castle and numerous historic buildings including the famous 16th century Feathers Hotel. The area has the highets concentration of medievil castles in Europe! Meanwhile Herefordshire is famous for its orchards and cider!
