About the property

First floor, comfy 2 bed apartment, close to Cala Fonts and it's restaurants.

A first floor apartment, with one double and one twin bedroom, with a large sunny balcony overlooking the beautiful and bustling Mahon Harbour. Clever patio doors enable the terrace to be enjoyed in all weathers, which is particularly useful at the beginning and end of the season. The terrace is well furnished with a large dining table and four comfortable chairs as well as two wicker easy chairs to enjoy the wonderful sunrises and floodlit views of Lazareto Island in the Harbour. There is a comfortable sofa in the sitting room with a large television that receives British television. There is free wi-fi within the apartment.

There is a fully fitted and equiped kitchen incorporating a large fridge with small freezer, full sized cooker, toaster and a washing machine. The bathroom is fully fitted and enjoys a bath with shower over. The apartment is accessed from the road, up one shallow flight of stairs. With regret, there is a no smoking policy on this apartment and it is not suitable for children under 10 because of the balcony.

The apartment is close to the delightful cove of Calas Fonts, which has many cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy within a 10 minute stroll. There is a well stocked supermarket within a 5 minute walk and the bus routes are a 10 minute walk. The airport is just a 20 minute drive away and the nearest beaches can be accessed within 20 minutes also although Cala Padera is just a short stroll through the pine trees and has a baord walk for sunbathing and accessing the clear water of the harbour. Es Castell town includes several small shops including a pharmacy, bakers, banks etc. The splendid capital city of Mahon, with it's quayside restuarants, spectacular staircases and extensive shops is a 40 minute walk away, heat permitting or a 10 minute drive.

Why Judith chose Santa Ana

Santa Ana is a very quiet, residential area, close to Cala Fonts, which can be reached via a fascinating boardwalk over the water to the many restaurants and cafes. We particularly enjoy watching sealife around the boats and enjoying delicious coffee in the morning.

What makes this apartment unique

lovely apartment with superb views

Very comfortable with everything you need. Appreciated the binoculars to see the splendid views and boats,ferries and cruise ships going in and out of harbour.Very pleasant walk into Es Castell with plenty of restaurants.,bars and supermarkets. Bus stop nearby with frequent buses into Mahon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay in the apartment which was precisely what we had hoped for . To wake up to the wonderful view of the harbour in the early morning sun was fabulous. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony watching the various boats.

The apartment is very well equipped throughout and was spotless. There are some nice , thoughtful touches e.g an extension cable set up for UK plugs and the ability to keep up with the news with Freeview UK TV .The variety of restaurants within a 10 minute walk meant chilled out evenings eating at the waterfront at Calas Fonts.

The apartment is in a quiet residential area with easy parking close by. It is certainly in our list of places to revisit.
