Great location and a nice apartment
We loved where this apartment was located and enjoyed staying here. It was clean and well kept. We were a little concerned that we were told not to be too loud (since we were traveling with our children) especially when we were told that the police might be called if we made too much noise. It was unclear what kind of context the police would be called in, and we worried about the neighbors every time one of our kids spoke loudly. As it turned out, though, the neighbors were cordial, and the police never show up, but we did spend a lot of time trying to make sure everyone was especially quiet. We did enjoy the apartment, the location, and the space and would recommend it!
Great Vatican Vacation Apartment
This apartment is located on the 4th floor of Via la Goletta, 7 with a lift. We were 3 couples who stayed here, My wife and I along with my 2 adult children and spouses. There was plenty of room for the 3 couples. There were 2 dedicated bedrooms and one pull out sofa/ den area. The kitchen area was adequate, maybe a little small for a long stay with 6 people. The apartment was light and airy. There is one en suite bedroom. The apartment is as pictured. Plenty of bedding and towels. Everything else you would need for a visit. The apartment overlooks Via Candia, the street is busy but not very noisy.
The beds were on par for other beds we have experienced in Italian apartments. The Wi Fi worked without an issue in the apartment. We saw air conditioners in most rooms, but since it was mid April, we did not use it.
It is a short walk from the Cipro Metro stop. It is close to the Vatican museum, a neat caffe' on the corner, and a grocery just around the corner. Bus stop to Piazza del Popolo opposite the caffe'. We found it a perfect spot to explore Rome. Bonci Pizzarium is just opposite from Cipro stop if you want the best pizza in Rome!
