Exceptional quality 3 bedroom villa set in beautiful gardens in a quiet location
Villa Thea is a spacious three bedroom villa in a quiet cul de sac set in the Peyia hillside with a large heated swimming pool.
From Thea it is a short walk to the picturesque village of Peyia and its traditional tavernas.
Thea in Cypriot means 'Good View' and Villa Thea has amazing views towards Coral Bay, Paphos and the mountains, enjoyed from the pool deck, patios, whilst playing a game of pool, from the balconies and the secluded landscaped gardens. There are shaded terraces, an electric awning, and a sun umbrella for those sunny and hot days.
Stylishly furnished and air conditioned Thea has a fully equipped kitchen and utility area including a washing machine, American style fridge freezer with ice maker and filtered cold water.
Thea has WiFi throughout, two TVs with UK channels, a CD and DVD player, plus a portable Bluetooth speaker.
Thea also provides beach and bath towels as well as high thread count linens in all rooms for extra comfort.
Thea is a ten minute walk to Peyia village, a five minute drive to bustling Coral Bay with its many bars and restaurants, a fifteen minute drive to Paphos and a thirty minute drive to Paphos airport.
The large outside area includes a thirty foot swimming pool with walk in steps, extensive tiled patios, beautiful lawns within mature gardens, an outside shower and separate toilet, a traditional Cypriot charcoal barbecue, a pool table, boules and croquet..
A covered pergola and electric awning provide shade if required, and there are shaded terraces and a sun umbrella.
Car parking is either on the private drive or outside in the cul de sac.
On one side of the grand entrance hall is a homely TV lounge and a modern shower room. On the other is well sized dining area to seat up to eight with a TV, and a large fully equipped kitchen. Appliances include washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric oven and hob, two refrigerators; one with a freezer, ice maker and chilled water, and a water cooler.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a four poster bed and a modern en suite shower room. Its large balcony has fabulous views across the valley towards the mountains.
The other two bedrooms share a family bathroom, and both have individual balconies with fantastic sea views. On each balcony there are tables and chairs.
All beds are 6 foot super king size (the third bedroom has twin beds) and each bedroom has built in wardrobes. Hair dryers are also provided in each bedroom, as are bath and pool/beach towels.
Each room in the house is air conditioned, and has French doors fitted with mosquito screens as well as shutters and curtains to provide shade if required.

My wife and I both grew up in the UK, but have lived and worked in several other Countries over the years, including Switzerland and the UAE. With our two daughters we have spent many holidays in Cyprus, mostly in the Paphos area, and lately in Coral Bay and Peyia. We now divide our time between the UK and Cyprus.

Why Owner chose Peyia
Having visited Cyprus many times, even going as far back as the Seventies, we lately spent, off and on, about four years looking for the perfect villa to buy! We wanted a villa with everything - sea views, peace and quiet, space, location - which seemed to elude us until last year, when we finally found what we wanted - Villa Thea!

Fabulous villa in a lovely location, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommend!
We loved staying here and found Villa Thea perfect in every way. It is spotless and perfectly set up. John and Cheryl, the owners, were extremely helpful and very accommodating.
The villa has all the modern amenities you need and then extra ones which make you feel very spoilt! Like an ice machine ;) There are shops close by to buy anything you need and several beautiful beaches within a 30 minutes drive. The villa is situated with a lovely view of the sea and also within driving distance to mountain villages and several UNESCO sites (I highly recommend the old churches and monasteries - some of the most vivid and bright frescos I've ever seen).
The villa is wonderfully quiet and we spent many days just by the pool relaxing. The grounds and gardens are extremely well-kept, as is the whole villa. It is very spacious and has a very family-friendly set up.
All in all a real gem and one that I wish we could've spent much longer at!
Fantastic luxury villa with huge heated pool and sea views!
We are a family of 5 with 3 boys age 20, 18 & 11 years. On arrival the villa was spotlessly clean and much bigger than expected, the downstairs is spacious and open plan with plenty of room for a big family. The gardens are absolutely delightful and we had room all around the villa and so private. The pool was heated and most days got up to 29 degrees which was perfect and the boys spent a lot of time in it. This is one of the best villas we have stayed in and I would highly recommend. Peyia and Coral Bay are lovely and have something for everyone and so many places to eat. Thank you John for a wonderful stay we definitely hope to return. The Hall Family.
Thank you for such a positive review, and so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Our guests often comment on the size of the pool and how spacious the property is; something we found it hard to convey in the photos!
We look forward to your next visit to Villa Thea.
Beautiful Villa with a Beautiful Sea View

Picturesque villa in Peyia
Having stayed at Villa Thea with my partner this summer, I was pleasantly surprised to find it the best of both worlds, close enough to Coral Bay and Pafos to enjoy the sights and nightlife but elevated on the mountainside in peiga where it is peaceful, away from tourism and offers a breathtaking view of the Akamas peninsula.
What can I say, the villa itself was just magnificent, the inside was modestly but elegantly furnished, incredibly spacious yet had a family-friendly feel. Although there were excellent restaurants locally I found myself cooking a lot simply because the facilities were great and the garden was lovely to sit and have lunch with the view. If you are looking for something relaxing but with good accessibility and away from tourist area this is the ideal place. The garden is hidden with hedges so you can see the sea but locals can’t see in.
In terms of amenities, the villa is very up to date and has two huge American style fridges, wide screen tv, with sky and all the channels and three great upstairs doubles with fantastic balcony views. If you enjoy scenic walks, I would say this is a great area to explore, to see local living, try the food and just appreciate all the views from such a breathtaking, discreet part of Cyprus.
All in all, a really authentic experience in the heart of peiga, I would really recommend this area and this villa, looking to rebook next summer!
This was my 5th visit to the Aphrodite's Island and again it did not disappoint. Villa Thea was a superb base for our holiday. It is spacious, well appointed (it even has two fridges so you can keep your drinks cold in one!); it is spotlessly clean with magnificent views across the island and coast - the description on the website is accurate so there were no surprises when we got there.
We went in mid-September when the weather was still hot and the clean and well sized pool was perfect for cooling off in and working off some of the excesses.
Walk 15 minutes into Peyia itself for magnificent Sheftalia or massive pork chops at Cousins, drive 5 minutes into Coral Bay for a more tourist based environment with many good restaurants, or light up the BBQ at the villa and enjoy the sunset in peaceful surroundings.
This is as good as a villa can get within the price range and I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone or returning there - did I mention it has Two Fridges?!

Dear Tim and Val
Thanks very much for your review and delighted you enjoyed your stay.
You seem to appreciate the villa and its location ( and its two fridges!) as much as we do!
We hope to see you back next year.
John and Cheryl.
Beautiful homely villa
We have just spent 4 weeks at Villa Thea, myself, husband and 16yr old son. As soon as we walked in through the door it felt like home. There is everything you need and more at this lovely villa and the surrounding area.
This is our 6th year staying in Peyia and our 6th villa and this one has been the best for the following reasons....
Pool, beautiful and clean, perfect size and temperature.
The outdoor space is beautifully designed and the gardens are well cared for and blooming, the limes from the tree go very well in a gin and tonic! plenty of space for privacy and of course that important sunbathing, you can follow the sun all around the villa never missing a single moment.
The views are stunning from wherever you are inside or out and the sunsets are amazing.
Everything inside the villa is very comfortable and everything you need is all there for you, was really like being at home, you want for nothing. The bed are extremely comfortable, the aircon brilliant and a God send and tv, kitchen items etc all very easy to use. Plenty water dispensers and ice whenever, a very well equipped kitchen. There is also a pool table, great touch especially as our son had a couple of friends out for a week, great fun had by all.
The village is a short 15min walk away, a few taverna's and a couple of bars all of which are excellent. Alex's Bar (am sure named after my son) is like being in your local, great owner who is happy to have a drink and a game of pool with you.
Car is essential if you want to get about, there are plenty of things to do in and around paphos. The Last Castle is a must, it's on the Akamas Peninsula and Poppadoms Indian restaurant, on the main road heading towards Paphos harbour. The harbour is also a great place for a night out, a lot more lively than the village and a great change now and again.
I would not hesitate to book this villa again in the future, we love Cyprus and Peyia is without doubt the best place to be for a base to explore the surrounding areas.
Thank you so much John and Cheryl for the use of your beautiful comfortable villa. Looking forward to booking with you again in the future.
Dear Bob and Diane,
Thanks very much for a great review. Clearly you like the villa as much as we do!
We look forward to welcoming you back next year.
