The unspoilt Axe estuary is also nearby with its bird and nature reserve and provides some lovely walking opportunities. Explore the seaside towns and villages of Charmouth West Bay Lyme Regis Sidmouth Beer and Branscombe. The market town of Axminster is less than 2 miles away with shops pubs restaurants the famous River Cottage Canteen and Shop run by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall swimming pool Thursday market and mainline railway station. Other attractions in the area include Abbotsbury Crealy River Cottage HQ Seaton Jurassic and a selection of National Trust properties.
