Welcome to our warm and central flat. We are delighted to welcome Airbnb guests into our family home. The best thing about the flat is that it is in the very center of the city, about 10 minutes walk from Termini Station and 15 mins walk to famous Colosseum. That means you are in the middle of the action and you will barely need to use public transportation as you can walk basically everywhere.
The flat is located on the 4th floor of an historical and elegant building with elevator access. The living room has a one-of-a-kind marble fireplace, two velvet armchairs and a very comfortable leather sofa. The sofa converts to a double sofa bed which will sleep a further 2 people. An elegant glass table is located right in front of the TV, where you can enjoy a relaxing meal cooked at home or a take away delicious pizza. You can watch hundreds of channels on our TV. Although given the great location and the amount of things to do in Rome, our guess is that you might not even have time to watch the TV!In the living room you will also find plenty of board games, DVDs and books of all kind.
Bedroom number one has a very comfortable medium-firm double bed, an antique wardrobe, and a dresser. There is also a rail to hang your coats and put your suitcase so everything is neat and tidy whilst you're here. A large window brings a lot of light during the day, and the sliding shutters mean (most of) the light is blocked in the night and in the morning.
Bedroom number two also has a large wardrobe to keep all your belongings in during your stay in Rome. This bedroom has been decorated with a lovely bamboo single bed and matching coat hanger and night stand.
The kitchen is very well equipped - and there is always tea and coffee available so you can make yourself a nice breakfast and feel right at home.
Master bathroom has free standing 1950s bath tub and a shower. Fluffy towels and all the essential toiletries will be provided for you.Another small bathroom with WC and sink is located in the kitchen, accessible through a sliding door.
The whole flat is available to guests.
The flat is located nearby Via Nazionale - one of Rome's central and trendy areas 10 minutes walking from Termini station and from beautiful Piazza Venezia, 5 minutes from Piazza della Repubblica and 15 minutes away from Colosseum, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via del Corso, Via Condotti and Piazza del Popolo.
Right around the block you can also check out the beautiful Monti neighborhood, one of the most- loved by the locals!
We love the great transport links at Termini Station, where all the metro lines and regional trains merge. There are also numerous buses that one can catch from Via Nazionale that will take you to all parts of town.
The flat is located in ZTL area, where car access is only allowed before 7 am and after 8 pm and during Sundays and feast days (except from TAXIS and Uber).
Therefore, we strongly advice to get around using public transportation or just walk toward the main sights. As mentioned before, Termini station is extremely close to the flat where you can catch the Leonardo Express to Fiumicino (14€ per person) and every metro line.
Please, respect our neighbours the same way you want them to respect you.As mentioned before, the house is located in an historical building where families and workers live. Noise is not allowed after 21 pm until 8 am.
Another important thing to note is that recycling has to be respected. Make sure you throw your garbage in the 5 different trash cans in the kitchen dividing the garbage in:-GLASS-PLASTIC-UNDIFFERENTIATED DRY GARBAGE- ORGANIC GARBAGE-PAPER
