Sleeps 4 - Lovely Terrace - JUNE DATES AVAILABILITY!!

This spacious apartment is set in its own private gated residence with beautiful gardens and a secluded swimming pool. The apartment is situated on the first floor with balconies from the bedrooms facing North West & outdoor dining terrace facing south off the sitting room. There is a choice of either lift or stairs. A spacious entrance hall leads to the attractive well equipped kitchen. The Sitting Room/Dining Room is tastefully decorated leading out to the spacious terrace, where one can enjoy a leisurely breakfast along with the beautiful view of Antibes and the sea. There are two bedrooms (one of which has en-suite facilities) both with balconies (with views of the olive garden and Nice) & spacious wardrobes. There is also an additional shower room/wc/wash basin just off the inner hall way to serve bedroom number 2. The apartment has all the usual facilities along with air conditioning and excellent wifi.

Antibes:: Antibes is a beautiful old town located just 15 minutes from Nice and 10 minutes from Cannes. It is wonderfully placed at the entrance to the spectacular Cap d'Antibes. The old walled town contains many tiny cobbled streets leading from square to square and is a wonder to explore. Walk along the old ramparts surrounding the town and note the spectacular coastal scenery. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from at all prices. During the summer there is a variety of street entertainment. A must to see is the daily Provancal Market with a marvellous selection of fruit and veg as well as fish, cheese and spices. There are weekly bric a brac and clothes markets. The deep water Port Vauban is situated just outside the old town and is well worth an evening stroll so view the amazing boats. One can also take boat trips to other locations along the coast from here.

Location of Apartment:: The apartment is located just minutes drive from the old town in a residential area overlooking the sea. The area is very quiet being set away from the town itself. 20 minutes walk will take you into the town centre and there are regular bus services from just outside the gate. The train station is a 10 minute walk where one can choose many beautiful destinations along the coast. The A8 motorway is just 2 minutes drive and this gives access to a choice of costal areas or alternatively trips up to the superb mountain villages. There is a selection of both supermarkets, boulangeries and pharmacies nearby.

General Information:: There is no end of choice regarding general activities. Walkers will enjoy a super choice of destinations to enjoy at any level. The Cap d'Antibes is a favourite with joggers. There are many golf courses in the area within a 20 minute drive. There are lots of nearby beaches to choose - from family favourites to the private beaches attached to beach restaurants. The Picasso Museum is housed in Antibes, Renoir's home is in nearby Cagny and there is a large array of museums and galleries in Nice itself. The tourist office in Antibes is very helpful, there is also plenty of useful information in the Apartment and the owner is also very helpful.

Lovely property, great experience

This was our first time using Homeaway and we were a little apprehensive. Janet provided great information up front, which helped us choose her property. The payment process was straight forward, just a shame we were hit with the reducing value of the GBP. Some times these things work in your favour, sometimes they don't. As the holiday grew closer, Janet supplied us with additional information on the local area, which helped us plan the first few days. Including where to go for groceries and the local boulangerie. Yum yum.

The property was as described, with great views down to the coast and a well equipped kitchen. It's a little way out from the centre of Antibes, however we mixed up walking, the bus and Uber, depending on time of day, heat of the sun and the kid's energy levels. It was all very affordable. The pool was great, often we had it to ourselves. We did have one issue, with the aircon, but Janet organised someone to fix it the next day. Things breakdown from time to time, it's how they are dealt with that counts.

Access to English TV was great, especially with the Olympics in full swing whilst we were there. Not important for everyone I'm sure. There were also lots of little extras, such as a selection of DVDs, beach chairs and parasols. We never used them in the end, but a nice homely touch that compares favourably to other rental properties that we have visited.

We rented a car for 3 days. We drove up to Valberg one day - fantastic roads and scenery. It was very convenient to have the car, but now we know about Uber and got the hang of the bus service, I'm not sure a car is worth the expense. It was very easy to get down to the Train station with its connections to other areas of the Cote d'Azur and further afield - we took the TGV to Paris for the second part of our holiday.

Antibes has some great restaurants. I don't recall all that we visited, but Bistro Teatro, Aubergine, Brasserie L'Alcyon are three that stood out.

All in, I would happily recommend this property.

Perfect!!

Just finished a wonderful week in Antibes and this perfect apartment was a treat. It is exceptional for the views, the comfort, the complete kitchen,the good parking and the grounds well maintained with lovely trees and flowers all around.

The views are spectacular from either the front or back verandas. The pool was nice. The apartment was clean and the check-in easy and cordial. Everything and everybody was timely and exactly as represented. The apartment is large and comfortable, has a nice tub in one bath and showers in both baths. We often ate out on the back veranda which is very large and with a nice dining set. (and the before mentioned great views)

Don't miss the hike around Cap d'Antibe, the old town and the Marche' Provencal, We enjoyed Vence and Mougins in the hills and all the grand cities of the Riviera.

And finally the best part----the apartment is utterly peaceful and quiet; a serene hideaway after a hectic day of sightseeing. For us it was perfect!

FIVE STAR STAY IN ANTIBES

Without a doubt, Les Hauts de Beauvert is a five star out of five. Our stay was in mid October 2014 and we must say that the property exceeded our expectations from the start. Our flight from Paris was delayed and we were concerned about meeting Joanna (our greeter) since we were unable to contact her by phone. Joanna waited for us and was not upset about our late arrival. She said it gave her time to catch up on some reading and television. She went through all the details and then said to call if we needed anything during our stay. Although we did not take her up on the offer, we were consoled to know she was just a phone call away.

The apartment is just as advertised and then some. Everything needed was there, from soap to condiments to espresso which we gladly replenished. Oh, we forgot to mention umbrellas, too. It was nice to have items to use until we got to the store. It was very clean and beautifully appointed. The view from the deck is wonderful and we ended up spending more time in the apartment than we usually do on vacation.

Antibes is a great center point to use as home base. It is so close to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and St. Paul de Vence. Antibes, itself, is a city that can be explored for days. The market is outstanding.

The interaction with Top Class Holiday Rentals (Janet Byrne) was seamless. Everything from the deposit, to the payment and the refund of the deposit went without problems. Janet communicated, in detail, all that was necessary to make our vacation go smoothly. We plan on using Top Class Holiday Rentals for a future vacation and for sure when we return to Antibes.

Wonderful , comfortable,nice views ,perfect

This is a wonderful apartment for Family or for young couples. We were two couples and had a awesome time in the apartment. Apartment is better than the pics. Pool is awesome and views are really nice. Apartment had everything what one needs on vacation. We had nice experience interacting with Janet and her friend who gave us the keys .Everything was nicely and timely arranged,Hassle free without any issues -exactly what you need on vacations

Give this apartment a go and you will love it.

Fabulous!

I wish I could think of something original to say but I can only echo the comments of other fortunate guests. The apartment is superb, the complex and pool are perfect so the whole package is outstanding. Everything works perfectly - none of the usual niggles - so my wife and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Anyone tempted by the advert should not hesitate!

Great Holiday - Again

We have had a wonderful week at the apartment and we wanted to say how much we appreciated being able to stay there again. Everything was just as good as we remembered it, if not better! To have the sun beds by the pool was an extra bonus, it was lovely to stretch out and dry off under the Mediterranean sun after a refreshing dip in the pool. We found some new things this time, such as the wonderful market in Antibes, the coastal path round the Cap, and a little hidden beach near the marina at Juan-les-Pins. The best eating place we found this time was Cucina Vera in Biot - great views from the terrace, prices about half that on the coast and the best ever Salade de chèvre chaude! The apartment really is special, thank you for letting us stay there again. We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Antibes is a beautiful walled old town located just 20 minutes from Nice and 15 minutes from Cannes. It is wonderfully placed at the gateway to the spectacular Cap d'Antibes. The pretty vielle ville with it's narrow cobble stoned streets rambling from one square to the next has lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and great shops. Not to be missed is the walk along the town's old ramparts where you can view the most beautiful scenic coastline with the town as backdrop. Another must see is the daily Marche Provencal, with it's wonderful veg, fish, meat, cheese, spices etc. The famous Picasso Musee is another must see. During the summer there is a variety of street entertainment to add to the holiday atmosphere. The deep water Port Vauban just outside the old town is a lovely evening stroll to view the amazing boats on Millionaires Row. There are lots of safe sandy beaches nearby. Bus and Train are also close by. There are terrific walks beyond the town.

Other Activities: All major activities are available within a short distance - talk to owner

Golf: There are a number of golf courses in the immediate vicinity - approx 20 minutes drive. We are both golfers and were impressed with one particular course near Valbonne/Biot. The cost was approx 62 for a round of golf and we thought the course was very nice. There are numerous courses in the surrounding area - Cannes, Monte Carlo, Esteral etc. etc. Details can be viewed on the internet

Ski: Ski Resorts - Auron and Isola 2000 are located approx 1 hour from the apartment. There are also bus services available from Nice. Details are available from the tourist office in Antibes
