Recently refurbished modern and luxurious Apartments with spacious open plan Living area and fully fitted Kitchen with french door leading to private decking area overlooking the garden where you can relax over breakfast or watch the sunset with a glass of wine . Off the living area in Apartment 2 is a good sized bedroom configured as king size double. There is more than adequate wardrobe and drawers and there is a luxurious en-suite shower room. All fresh towels and bedlinen is supplied together with shampoo, shower gel etc. The living area contains a sofa bed ideal for children or two small adults. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob unit, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Microwave Oven, Coffee Machine etc. There is flat screen TV and DVD in each room. There is also a large separate communal Sitting Room where guests can relax and watch 3D movies or play the Keyboard or a selection of guitars if they so wish. Free WiFi
The Apartment has full central heating and is suitable for both summer and winter occupation. Each apartment has it's own private entrance. The Annex is attached to the owners house and Leslie is happy to impart his local knowledge and advise on the best places to visit and local restaurants etc. Leslie is also happy to take guests on day trips and guided tours of the surrounding area. We also provide free transfers to and from the local Airport and Bus and Train Stations.

I am 72 years of age and after a varied career in Legal / Banking and among other things, owning and running a Photography and Design Studio, Upholstery Factory and Catering Establishments I am now using all my life experiences running The Annex Apartments in Nairn. Most of my guests come from abroad and in the last year I have played host to people from USA, Canada, Singapore, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Australia and Slovakia. I treat my guests as I would like to be treated myself. I like to think of my guests as my friends and go that extra mile to make them welcome and make their stay with me memorable. I am a native Scot born in Aberdeen and have travelled to most parts of the country. I use my local knowledge to prepare and plan itinerary's and routes for my guests so they get the maximum benefit of the spectacular scenery that Scotland has to offer and judging from the reviews I get, I think the guests appreciate this. I also get a lot of satisfaction knowing that I have made my guests happy.

The Annex at Nairn is ideally situated as a base to explore The Scottish Highlands. Enjoy "The Outlander Experience" as Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns and Cawdor Castle are all a 10 minute drive away. Within a 40 minute drive is Loch Ness, Aviemore and the ski resorts, Speyside and The Distillery Trail, The Grampian Mountains and National Park. Glencoe, Fort William, The Isle of Skye are all a day trip away, as are all the main places of interest on "The North Coast Route 500" which is Scotlands equivalent of "Route 66" I have explored and prepared detailed routes of all the best places to visit within one days drive of Nairn, which saves you the trouble and effort.
What makes this Apartment unique
The Annex at Nairn can be anything you want it to be. If you want peace and quiet and a place to relax, it is that. If you want it to be a base to reach out and explore the surrounding countryside, it is that. Most of my guests tend to do both. After a couple of days driving the highland roads for 8 hours, they are glad to just relax and chill out sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet of the garden, or walking along the beach. The Beaches at Nairn are one of Scotlands secret treasures. Most people are taken aback when they first see them. This is one of the reasons that Charlie Chaplin used to visit Nairn regularly on holiday. We also have another famous resident, Tilda Swinton, the Hollywood actress lives here with her family. If you still feel energetic we have bicycles which guests can use.

Clean, great facilities
Comfortable apartment in great location
The apartment is completely refurbished and the furniture is new. It is incredibly well equiped for long stays (specially the kitchen), and the owner is always helpful and kind, with good communication every time. The bedroom has a pretty good matress, and the shared living room is charming and comfortable (with a 3D TV and plenty of films available to see). Also, a Nairn is a quiet and good place to stay while visiting the whole of the Highlands.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung. Leslie ist ein toller Gastgeber. Dee Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Eiern und Speck und vielem anderen mehr. Er hat sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Wir haben mehr bekommen als man bei einer Ferienwohnung erwarten können. Danke noch mal! Nairn ist ein netter kleiner Ort. Der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Our stay in Nairn was very nice. Mr. Mitchell is a fantastic host. He helped us getting our computer repaired and gave us good advices, where to go in the highlands.
The Annex Apartments are located in a quiet road close to the centre of Nairn town within easy walking distance of the shops, museum, two Golf Courses and the beautiful Beaches with miles of white sand and views across The Moray Firth to the Black Isle. Favourite activities are Dolphin Spotting and "Nessie" Spotting as Nairn is only a 40min drive from Loch Ness. If using Sat Nav to locate our property the address is 6 Manse Road, Nairn, IV12 4RN which is accessed directly from the A96 and we are the third property on the left you will see the sign for The Annex.
