An easy drive takes you onto the Heritage Coastal Route, peppered with friendly villages and castles, including the spectacular Bamburgh Castle.Visit Alnwick, 17 miles away, home to Alnwick Castle, which is famous for being the filming location of ’Hogwarts’ in the popular Harry Potter films. The town has a fine selection of pubs, eateries and cobbled streets for guests to wander through and enjoy.Travelling west to Rothbury, with Cragside House and Gardens, is only a short 15-mile drive.
