Beautiful, tasteful with considerate touches like milk and eggs in fridge, wood for the fire and ba
We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect place
Stayed at the Hayloft for 2 nights and wished we were there for longer. Decorated tastefully with everything you need to make your stay special. The location is stunning and a perfect place to explore the best of the Peak District. Caroline and Charles are on hand but not intrusive. Will definitely look forward to a return visit in the summer months.5*
Blissful way to bring in the New Year
The Hayloft is magnificent. It is a beautifully appointed apartment, as the name suggests, converted from the hayloft over the barn. The views are fabulous, you have everything that you might need in order to cater for yourselves should you choose (although Caroline's prepared meal that we discovered in the fridge on arrival was devine!).
A lovely afternoon relaxing in front of the stove, a beautiful, if bracing walk from the door to Whetton and back, lovely food at The George, a great pint at the pub in Whetton - and a fabulous bath to relax in when we returned, followed by a luxurious sleep in the tasteful bedroom.
Charles and Caroline are lovely and we will definitely be returning. Fabulous!
The Hayloft is an amazing escape from it all.
Property just as pictures suggest. Everything high quality, spotlessly clean and toasty warm.
Charles a great guide to local area.
Did not disappoint
We came here for a quite quality break before the onslaught of children and grandchildren for Christmas and the Hayloft certainly delivered. A really comfortable and well appointed property with some rather nice homely touches such as the Christmas tree, baubles and crackers.
Charles certainly made us feel most welcome during our short stay.
Beautiful apartment, well equipped and clean.
Really nice place. Beautifully furnished, spotless, beautiful views, lovely walks from the front door and very helpful hosts.
