Heart of Warsaw apartment

We had a wonderful stay and would recommmend it to anyone. The unit was right in the heart of old town. We walked everywhere. It was clean and very easy access when we arrived.

Two items. While it is advertised as two bathrooms, one bathroom has a toilet and a small sink and one bathroom has a sink and shower. They are right next to each other.

Also, if you are using the unit as two bedrooms, there is not another living space besides the kitchen.

Don’t let those things stop you from booking. Just wanted people to be aware.

We stayed here for a week in May 2018 while “collecting” European capitals, never been to Warsaw before. Iwona the owner was very helpful, arranging a lift from the train station to the apartment and recommending restaurants. The apartment is clean and cosy but on the shaded side of its building so doesn’t get too hot when the sun shines. You are 10 minutes walk from the Old Town and 3 minutes walk from the nearest tube station. Mini market Carrefour Express just down the next alley. During the week buses stop right outside the apartment ( weekends the street becomes a pedestrian zone). Don’t miss the Uprising Museum and the hourly Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Wandering around the Old Town is great fun. And do try pierogi dumplings,

simple decor, spacious, comfortable apt in super great location. Thanks!!!!

We stayed in the apartment for a week at the beginning of August. The apartment is very clean and quiet since it is in the courtyard and the windows go out to the back of the building. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The thick walks helped to keep us reasonably cool at night even during a heat wave. The location is perfect for exploring the city. It is walking distance to the old town, the art museum, the Chopin museum, boutiques and restaurants on Nowy Swiat. The Warsaw University is next door as is a very good bakery. Metro is 5 minute walk and several buses stop in front of the building. The Church of the Holy Cross is across the street. Iwona is very easy to reach via email, phone or text message. She was very informative and patient in answering my questions.

The apartment served our needs perfectly, my grandson and I had some privacy and the two bathrooms were a great addition. The host sent us information on the bus to take from the airport which dropped us off right outside the apartment. Great bakery just on the street as well as lots of other restaurants and coffee shops. Easy to walk to Old Town and other sites.
