The apartment is perfect for a short time staying, from 2 to 30 days.

We have completely refurnished and renovated it in January 2012, taking care passionately and respecting the architectural characteristics of the apartment

In the apartment there is a little guide book to give you some tips about restaurant, pubs, cultural places and nice place and intersting site in the neighbourhood, where to listen live music, services like supermarket, biological food, public transportation.

Indipendent heating with room thermostate, programmed heating or manual.

Free wireless fast internet connection obviously available 24h/day.Small terrestrial digital cable TV. Fully equipped with kitchen, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, electric kettle, all pots and pans needed. Living room with a double sofa bed 140*200. Bedroom with double bed of 160*200 cm (4 feet), providing ample space underneath for luggage and other objects.

Second sleeping room suitable for two people.

Bathroom with shower and endless hot water, soap and shampoo. Hair Dryer furnished. Coffee, tea, oil, salt, spices, detergents and any basic alimentary needings provided Walk-in closet, with space for hanging plus washing machine. An iron is also equipped.

Within walking distance, there are groceries, restaurants at reasonable price (which, if you wish, bring home dinner or lunch), many shops, bakeries, pastry shops, bars and supermarkets.

Less then 5 minutes walking to reach the closest metro station (Santa Apolonia). 10 minutes walking to reach the Cathedral, the Castel of Sao Jorge

THERE IS A PARKING OPTION, the apartment,is in a Traffic Limited Zone, if you have a car you can park in in a public garage at 600 meters away from the apartment. Great location.

It is actually on the 5th floor (4 sets of 20 stairs each to climb) but great exercise!! A very quiet apartment, lovely deck, and Susanna and her son Pedro were able to accommodate us, as needed. It was close to lots of restaurants, groceries, museums, train station, a shoe store and o much more. Queen bed is a futon, pullout couch mattress is a pretty comfy queen size, too. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend this unit and the hosts! Thanks, Susanna. Cate & Chas

Lisbon gem

This apartment is a gem and made our stay in Lisbon perfect. Yes it's a climb up the street and the stairs but it allowed us to eat and drink more. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on!

Good location - bright, airy and comfortable

The apartment is in a good location but was quite difficult to find initially especially when new to the city. Our taxi dropped us at the bottom of the adjoining road which was closed half way up. Therefore our arrival was somewhat later than we had anticipated and the member of staff meeting us was less than welcoming and openly displayed agitation at our lateness and lack of familiarity with Lisbon.

However the apartment was a good space for 4 friends sharing and was comfortable, bright and airy. Nice to have the little outside terrace too.

It may benefit from a more thorough clean and check between bookings, the shower tray plug hole was clogged with hair, no light bulb in twin room lamp, some kitchen items needed washing before use.

Lisbon is a great city destination and I would recommend it to friends. The Apartment is good value for money.

Bright apartment with very nice terrace in great location

This apartment is very comfortable. It has great views and lots of light. Only caveat is that you have to be prepared to walk up four flights of stairs which after a late night of fado and wine can be a little daunting. Otherwise, although the location in Alfama is central, the apartment is quiet. We had an overall good stay here and would recommend.

Loved this place!

We had a great stay in this apartment - it's a wonderful location in Alfama. We were 2 couples in this small apartment, but with the terrace and the windows open it was breezy and seemed spacious enough. One bedroom was made to a queen and the other had twin beds that could be pushed together. The bathroom is small, but modern and ample. There are lots of stairs up to the 4th floor, so along with walking in Lisbon all day, it was great exercise. The location was great. We walked to everything and there are lots of fun places to eat and drink right along the streets nearby. Thanks for a great home!
