Total tranquility amidst spectacular Mountains and Orange Groves. Casa Oranges sleeps 8 and is furnished to a high standard with all mod cons including Dishwasher, Satellite TV and Wifi. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one ensuite) a kitchen/Lounge and two terraces to soak up the amazing views. There is a large above ground swimming pool (18ft x10ft) available from March - September. The house provides easy access to Valencia and its numerous Sandy Beaches and Arts and Science activity.

About Dee Wood

Hello everybody. My name is Dee and Im a Project Manager. I live and work in the Norfolk in England . In May 2016 I took home three stray dogs who used to live outside casa Oranges. They were all dying from starvation and illness. They are now settled in the house in Norfolk.

Why Dee Wood chose Llíria

I bought Casa Oranges in December 2014. I fell in love with the setting and could see that with some work I could make it into a comfortable house where people could feel at home and enjoy a relaxing holiday. Over two years I completely renovated the house, adding in the Solar system, new electrics, and roof. I turned the old terrace into an en-suite bedroom and then built two new terraces to replace the original one. I landscaped the garden, adding in an irrigation system as I went. During the Summer of 2016 the house was painted outside turning it from terracotta to white. It has been a labour of love and I hope you enjoy staying there as much as I do.

What makes this villa unique

There are amazing views all around the house. It is tranquil and private and slightly off the beaten track. Its perfect for nature lovers, Walkers, and Cyclists. If you value the sound of silence then this is the place for you. It is 35 minutes from the Beaches of Valencia and the MOTO GP.

An amazing place to stay

The villa was perfect just what we needed and was very well equipped we couldn't fault it. The villa was clean and tidy and had a welcoming feel. The remoteness was perfect but maybe our hire car choice wasn't. Maybe more of a mention about the drive to it is needed as it was a bit bumpy but we managed it.

The picking up of keys was excellent and the welcome pack well needed so thank you to Dick and Kath.

We definitely will recommend it to people and try and come back again as it in a perfect place for climbing and walking as well as relaxing.

Casa Oranges is located outside the Town of Casinos. It is one of only three houses perched on a hill overlooking olive groves.

Casinos has a large outdoor swimming pool open during the Summer for two Euros per day.

The Town has a selection of supermarkets, Restaurants and Cafes and holds a small Market every Wednesday.

Casinos holds its Fiesta at the end of August. There is a Programme of activity and the locals dine Alfresco in large groups all over Town.

There are a number of supermarkets and bread shops dotted around the town. The majority of shops can be found on the main street. These include a Butchers, Vegetable shop, supermarket and numerous bread shops. There is a Fish shop in the main square. You can buy Olive oil, bread and sugar coated Almonds in many of bakers shops.

Good quality Olive oil, red and white wine can be bought by the litre straight from a Cask at the last shop before the Alcublas turn on the main street.

There is a 24 hour cashpoint available in Casinos. Heading out of town towards Valencia, turn left when you see a shop sign on the left “Horno Bodega Trini.” Turn left after passing the playground on your right. Taska Bank is located further down this road on the corner.

Carrefour has two cashpoints.

Lliria has a number of cashpoints although parking is not always easy so it best to park at the Metro Station located off junction 23 and walk into town.
