The beach, with its fabulous dog-friendly cafe, is reached by a 1-mile road from the quay that can be reached by car (to a large car park) or the Wells Harbour miniature railway!
A large, light and spacious living room provides two sofas with space for cosy family evenings playing the board games or catching up on the day's news or a DVD on the flat-screen television with Sky TV or listening to the great-quality wireless sound system. The wifi is fibre, with download speeds of around 35mb.
The kitchen has all mod-cons including a large fridge freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine. Also provided are are a Dolce-Gusto coffee machine and De'Longhi toaster and kettle. The dining table allows for 4 places to gather for hearty breakfast before the day's activities. There is more than sufficient kitchen equipment to take advantage of the amazing local Norfolk produce on offer in the nearby deli and other shops to create a family dinner if you decide to stay in, but it may be difficult to resist the two pubs - The Globe and The Crown - both only yards away and both providing great beers, wines and of course superb a food offering.
The two generous bedrooms offer a choice depending on guests' requirements - one has a super-king bed and the second bedroom has a zip-link which can alternate between a super-king double bed or can be separated into two single beds. Both bedrooms have brand new (2017) hotel-quality mattresses, built-in wardrobes with plenty of space and two bedside tables, each with reading lamps.
The bathroom is a light and modern suite with bath, basin and toilet, with a shower unit over the bath. A selection of complimentary high-quality toiletries is available for guests and towels for the bathroom and linen for the bedroom are of course provided for guests.
To the rear of the property there is a small paved courtyard area with a table and two chairs.
There is no designated parking, but there are no parking restrictions on The Buttlands and there is space immediately outside the property which is usually available.
