Equipped to a high standard. Private south facing garden with views across the adjoining lake, BBQ and garden furniture. The kitchen is well equipped including full sized cooker, washing machine, fridge, microwave and toaster, etc. Heating if required is provided by wood-burning stoves in the lounge and oil central heating. Furnishings are comfortable and all bedrooms are carpeted. Ample supply of books, games and suggested excursions near and far. Lounge has English TV VCR and DVD. Externally the cottage shares a 30ft x 20 ft solar heated secure pool with sun-trap patio equipped with pool-side furniture. The garden surrounding the property is attractive and well stocked, with the added interest of an original Breton bread oven. Whilst retaining sufficient space for quiet relaxation and contemplation. Guests can enjoy a quiet game of boules, try their luck fishing in the lake.
A tastefully renovated typical Breton farm house with an original stone fire place, housed with a wood burner. On the ground floor is an extremely spacious, comfortable beamed lounge with open plan Dining area and fully fitted kitchen. A feature beech staircase leads to the first floor and a large double bedroom with exposed beams and French window providing extensive views of the lake. A further two twin rooms and house bathroom with shower over. This cottage also enjoys oil fired central heating.
The large fitted kitchen is well equipped, has a gas full cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker ect.

The LAC DU DORDU is accessible directly from our grounds and includes, lakeside bar and children’s play area. Fishing at lake LAC DU DORDU has some large common carp, large Pike, tench perch and last season even some wild trout, and fishing permits can be purchased for a day for 4€ at the village bar, so why not try your luck at fishing and with a variety of bird life makes an idyllic retreat treat. Canoeing, rowing boats can be used on the lake but no motorized
Driving is a pleasure on wonderfully quiet country roads which wind through beautiful tree lined valleys and sleepy villages. This is a fantastic area for cycling, rambling and bird watching. It is an artist’s paradise with wonderful light and a painting every time you turn around.
Locally we can offer Horse riding that is less than 10 min's away and a superb 9 hole golf course about 25 min's away, Quad Biking and the famous Lac de Guerledan with all manner of water sports and boat trips is 20 minutes away. The Nantes Brest canal is 15 minutes drive. The picturesque Guld de Morbihan is than an hour away, as are the historic towns of Anray, Vannes, Quimper and Josselin.
With so many coastlines, many leisure activities are focused on the water: sailing, surfing, canoeing, rowing, and sand yachting. For history fans, there are megaliths, château, museums, and medieval towns,

The larger town of Guemene sur scorff is 7km away. We are approx 15min away from the Nantes/Brest Canal, The famous Lac de Guerledan, with water sports, restaurants, beaches etc. is 20min away, and southern coastal beaches are less than an hour away. Historic towns of Vannes, Josselin, Auray & Quimper in just over an hour.
