Overview

Villapourçon House Rental Photos and Description

Old cottage with modern comforts, beautiful view, quiet, and very private

Charming 19th-century stone cottage, situated on a hillside in the Regional Park of Morvan at the altitude of 560 meters, with a panoramic view of the Burgundy countryside. Calm, secluded in its natural setting, this 'fermette' has been entirely modernized this year. It is surrounded by 4.3 hectares of private forested land of which a half an hectare is a terraced yard. It is situated in a small hamlet 'Le Niret.' The access to the cottage is via a semi private dirt road. The cottage has 5 principle rooms on two floors: the lower level--a family room cum dining room with large old fireplace, a cathedral ceiling, and a fully equipped modern American kitchen; across from the entrance is a separate large living room. On the second floor there are three bedrooms and a mezzanine overlooking the family room. A small shed houses wood and garden furniture. Private parking beside the house easily accommodates three cars. The gardenterrace has several walnut and chestnut trees.

tasteful charm in the heart of france

  • 5 of 5

such a beautiful spot to really feel like you can get away from everything. the house has been beautifully and tastefully renovated but keeps its morvandois charm whilst being modern and cosy. I plan on coming back with friends next year! to those of you who haven't spent any time in the Nievre/le Morvan - I highly recommend it.

Ruhiges Haus mit schönem Blick

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Merci...

Belle région, belle maison, très au calme

  • 4 of 5
