Domain La Cabane, a very peaceful place close to the sea

La Cabane is a lovely 150 m² house, situated in the middle of a 6 hectares terrain, with no vis-à-vis.

It includes:

- A living room with a fire place, 4 sofas, and 3 occasional tables,

- A dining room with a fire place, a farm table (230*100), 2 benches, and 2 old sideboards,

- The kitchen is fully equipped,

- In the living room, there is a Hi-Fi Sony radio with Bluetooh connection for smartphone (2*20W RMS)

- A long corridor which gives access to the 4 bedrooms, all having a south view,

- 3 bedrooms with a 160*200 bed,

- 1 bedroom with two 80*200 beds,

- 1 bathroom with a shower and two basins,

- 1 independant WC,

- 1private bathroom for the bedroom 4, with a shower, one basin and one WC,

- 1 room with a washing machine and a drying machine,

- A 32 m² terrace which is south oriented, equipped with a garden table, 6 garden chairs, 2 garden armchairs, a WEBER SPIRIT PREMIUM E310 gaz barbecue,

The Domain La Cabane is my little paradise where we come very often, especially during the low and medium seasons.

We rent our house, both in order to balance our budget, and also to be able to improve the comfort of La Cabane every year, so you will be able to enjoy it, like we do.

What makes this villa unique

La Cabane is a very quiet and peaceful place, with no house around, but very close to the Atlantic Ocean, dedicated for nature lovers.

When you are on one of the two terraces, you can hear the noise of the waves, especially when the tide is high. It is absolutely magic as you are completely somewhere else at this moment.

In the field around the house, you will find figue trees, olive trees, oak trees, pine trees, chestnut trees, palm trees and a bunch of savage flowers like lavand and aneth.

Great family holiday with friends

This is a lovely property and I highly recommend it. We were 2x families of 4 and found it very spacious. The kichen was fully equipped with plenty of large pots and pans to cook for 8. The terrace was very spacious and enough space outside for games or sunbathing - so much more land than we expected. It is very peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to the local beach.

There are two shops in the village where you can get your fresh bread in the morning and it is only 10 minutes drive from St Pierre D'Oleron to the supermarket. The village is perfectly situated to visit La Cotiniere and a the other beaches on the west coast, particularly La Perroche which is a lovely cove and safe to use kayaks and inflatables. If you want a bit of excitement then head for La Grande Plage, a great beach for bodyboarding and surfers - the waves are high and provide hours of fun.

The island of Oleron is a relaxing place to be with plenty of places to eat. No where is more than a 20 minute drive so it's lovely to eat out in different places. Fresh fish is in abundance and very reasonable compared to the UK!

We had such a great fortnight we felt that we'd been there longer. We would definitely return to this property in the future. Patrick (the owner) is very helpful by email or telephone should you need to contact him (and he speaks good English).

Maison spacieuse et très confortable

L'espace immense du jardin sans voisinage invite au calme et à la liberté, la mer à côté pour la baignade à portée de "main", la cotinière à deux tour de roue de vélo pour s'approvisionner directement chez les pêcheurs. Une maison conviviale très grande et très spacieuse , avec un barbecue pour les griller; un grand salon pour se prélacer, internet pour ne pas être trop isolé . Nous avons aimé

Le Paradis est à Oléron

Un séjour extraordinaire grâce à une maison tellement accueillante de part sa situation, son charme et l'ambiance créée par son propriétaire.

Généreux en équipements, en belle disposition, l'univers de meubles choisis avec attention propose en chaque pièce de séjour un plaisir de quiétude.

Le parc, un écrin préservant le jeu des enfants , offre aux regards des points de vues tellement appréciés du réveil aux couchers de soleils variant en deux semaines au grès des couleurs d'une île qui joue chaque jour une teinte de mille rayons au rythme lointain de vagues certaines, poussées pour un air portant les lavandes, les odeurs de pins, d’une plage proche filtrée d'arbres, de lauriers en fleur, de figuiers chargés ombrageant un parfum doux et sucré.

Et un mini commerce à deux minutes de coup de pédales d’un des nombreux vélos mis à disposition proposant l’essentiel du matin, pain, viennoiserie…. et le dépannage urgent en journée.

Un joli Paradis que nous avons hâte de retrouver, enfants et adultes.

Lieu calme et reposant

Maison parfaitement conçue pour accueillir une famille avec plusieurs enfants. 4 chambres spacieuses permettent à chacun de se sentir à l'aise, et aux plus petits de faire leur sieste, sans être dérangés par les plus grands, puisque l'espace chambre est bien séparé de l'espace de vie.

Grande cuisine familiale et salon très spacieux.

Sans oublier l'espace extérieur très étendu à deux pas de la plage, et à 3min en voiture de la Cotinière.

Nous avons hâte de revenir sur un Printemps afin de profiter des extérieurs de cette maison parfaitement isolée mais à deux pas de toutes commodités.

Il est en effet dommage que l'île d'Oléron ne se décide pas à "bouger" un peu plus qu'en dehors des mois d'été. Et oui il y a des gens qui aime la mer l'hiver!!! (dommage que tous les restaurants, bars et boutiques soient fermés.)

Propriétaire charmant et tout à fait disponible.

Le bonheur

Nous avons célébré notre mariage à la cabane, lieu magique splendide calme et à l abris des regards.

Cette propriété se prête idéalement à ce genre d événement

Le propriétaire est un homme charmant à l écoute de ses hôtes et prèt à tout pour faire plaisir, il est secondé par un couple tout aussi charmant et disponible sur l île ( pour les bonnes adresses, l entretien, les dépannages etc....)

La maison est ultra équipée, pratique et très confortable.....canapés, lits de grandes qualités

Lieu idéal pour se reposer ou célébrer un événement

Que du bonheur

Un havre de paix et de tranquillité. Tout est pensé pour le confort et la détente. De l'espace, de l'intimité, la proximité des activités, des balades sans prendre la voiture...et une vue de la terasse sur la nature absolument magnifique, propice au recueillement.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses, propreté impeccable.

Un propriétaire attentif, soucieux de faire que notre séjour soit idéal. C'est réussi.
