Missouri Heights is a wonderful location for all of what the Roaring Forks has to offer. We had four families of four in this location and the space allowed for large gatherings in one spot but also offered several locations in the house for kids to play while the adults relaxed from a long day of skiing. Returning home from Snowmass the hot tub was an inviting reward from the day of hitting the slopes. Late night the outdoor fireplace offered an area to roast marshmallows and a place that offered respite from a long day.
I would highly recommend this location that offers easy access to Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, Buttermilk and Glenwood Springs. The location is also very close to local town centers offering a lot of dinning offerings if you do not choose to use the kitchen which has just about all of the amenities and utensils that any cook would need. Stacy the property manager was helpful in answering questions and assistance with any of the amenities.
The place was so big we felt like we had our own ski lodge with a large open family room with lots of seating and huge mantled fireplace. The outdoor deck offered stunning views of Mt. Sopris and as it was Spring Skiing, Apres Ski was a delight as we relaxed on the deck.
Beautiful home! Plenty of space for our group of 12
The house is gorgeous. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own space. Kitchen is amazing and has everything you could imagine (except a regular toaster lol).
Shower/water pressure in all the bathrooms was awesome.
For those planning to commute to ski, plan for at least a 30minute drive to the nearest mountain(Snowmass) during the day, and about 45 at night during the winter season.
Only negatives were that we couldn't use the hottub the first two days of our visit as it wasn't cleaned/refilled until the day of our arrival, the mattresses throughout the house feel like plywood when you lay down, but it's some sort of memory foam, so it gets better the longer you lay, and we could not get the TV in the kitchen to work (we followed all the step by step instructions to no avail) which was a big deal as we were there during football play offs!
Trip of a lifetime
The home was absolutely gorgeous. You can’t get views like this anywhere in Aspen. Just a quick drive to Snowmass Village, and Aspen to ski for the day or drive into Basalt or Carbondale for a local experience. The home comes with everything you need and was absolutely stunning. Stacey was a joy to work with and helped throughout the trip if I had any questions. If you are going to do Aspen make sure to stay here. It was absolutely a trip of a lifetime for the entire family. Thank you!
Lovely, large house, exceptional views/wildlife, 15-20 mins to shopping
The house is far more attractive than the photos suggest, and the views more spectacular from this remote residence on several acres.
Good WiFi, which was crucial for us.
Kitchen was an enormous central gathering place for our party and we found it very well stocked, although not many nonstick pots/pans.
Be sure to have a 4- or all-wheel drive vehicle during snow period.
Spacious mudroom with dedicated entrance was appreciated by the segment of our crew that hit the slopes during our stay. We loved the walkout-basement game room and bar.
Hot tub was great, as was the luxurious master suite with steam shower and large jet tub.
Extended dining table sits 10 comfortably, and we wedged in 12 for a couple of dinners.
Mattresses were firm, showers had good pressure. We highly recommend and would happily stay here again.
My family and I absolutely loved this home. With all of our adult children, there was plenty of room to spread out and have our own space, if it was needed. The pool table and the foosball table made for some fun, competitive evenings. Beautiful evenings spent on the deck. The towering fireplace would have been wonderful, but due to burn restrictions, we were not able to use it. We had a little problem with the A/C to the master upon arrival, but with just one message sent, there was someone out to fix the problem the very next morning. Would definitely recommend this property. Beautiful views, peaceful, secluded, but still only 10 min to 82.
Great views and great house. Everything was in great shape and we’ll cared for.
We were a group of 10 ski buddies up for an annual trip. This house was the best we’ve found yet. Well worth the short drive into any of the Aspen ski mountains to be able to stay in such spacious comfort.
