19 Headlands is a mid terrace cottage located in the lovely and well maintained grounds of the ex-Headlands Hotel. Walk a couple of steps out of the cottage front door into the gardens and you will be stunned by the view - its just amazing. The cottage is double glazed and has a spacious living room and kitchen. In fact when we have been there we often open a bottle of wine for the evening meal and that's where we stay chatting about life, Brexit, Donald Trump or whether Abba are going to reform amongst other topics!
There are three bedrooms which are composed of two with double beds and one with a single bed. One of the bedrooms has a wonderful view of the Headland, the other two have views over the gardens. The Headlands communal gardens (not fenced) are for you to enjoy with fabulous views. There are benches and places to have a picnic overlooking the sea and spectacular coast. The gardens are great for just chilling out in or reading a book with the sound of the waves and birdlife to keep you company. At times you can see dolphins playing in the sea.
There is a TV in the cottage just in case you want to watch an episode of Poldark and why not its got some fabulous shots of Cornwall.
19 Headlands is a two story property and the whole property is for you to use . There is a communal tennis court also for you to enjoy. There is footpath to the almost private Mears beach which is accessed by walking down the Headlands footpath - it takes around ten minutes to reach it. Sorry I can't be there to meet you as I live in Argentina (I use the cottage when I am in the UK ) however, I am contactable if you book and we can communicate or email if you need anything. Also you will find the other owners very friendly and willing to help should you need to know anything. If there is an emergency I will give you a number to call and that person will sort out any problems that may occur in the house.
The cottage is a part of the ex-Headlands Hotel complex . The main hotel house was converted to apartments around 30 years ago. There are three original cottages of which 19 Headlands is one and they were the workers housing when the hotel was in existence. The Headlands, where the property is located is simply a beautiful location. As mentioned step out of the cottage, walk a few steps and you will have one of the most amazing views in the UK - simply stunning. Have breakfast in the gardens opposite the house overlooking the impressive coastline and you will probably still be there for lunch!
Coverack village is a typical lovely Cornish village with its pretty harbour and sandy beaches. Here eating fish and chips on the harbour benches as the children jump from the harbour wall into the sea is a local pastime — try it, you'll love it, no matter how old you are ! Have a pint in the friendly Paris pub and then a walk along the coastal village path - it will definitely sooth your soul.
The area is famous for its walks and if that is why you want to come believe me you won't be disappointed - it's a walkers haven.
Coverack is also near to some spectacular sights such as the Lizard, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and Poldarks mine to name just a few. These places are all within easy striking distance and believe me they are definitely worth visiting. Course you could easily lose a week just staying around the cottage reading a book or two , going for a stroll every now and then before having an afternoon nap in preparation for the evening meal — bliss
19 Headlands has two allocated parking spaces. This is a real bonus as parking in the height of season in Coverack can be tricky act.
