19 Headlands is a spacious terraced cottage built around the turn of last century. It's furnished in a comfortable and simple rustic style and is located in one of the most stunning locations on the beautiful south Cornish coast. It's a perfect retreat to explore the surrounding area. It is located within a few minutes of the SW Coastal Path on Chynhalls Point.
Coverack is an almost secret location that will inspire you in its beauty. It's surrounded by wonderful walks and sandy beaches. Stroll down the headland to the village ( takes about ten mins) where you will find local shops, the friendly Paris pub, some great restaurants and the pretty harbour.19 Headlands is tucked behind the old Headland Hotel is a perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Located on the beautiful south Cornish coast on the Coverack Headlands it is very very near the famous coastal path.
Coverack itself is an amazing place. It's surrounded by wonderful walks and sandy beaches. From the cottage you can stroll down the Headland to the village ( takes about ten mins) where you will find local shops, the friendly Paris pub, some great restaurants and the pretty harbour.
19 Headlands is a mid terrace cottage located in the lovely and well maintained grounds of the ex-Headlands Hotel. Walk a couple of steps out of the cottage front door into the gardens and you will be stunned by the view - its just amazing. The cottage is double glazed and has a spacious living room and kitchen. In fact when we have been there we often open a bottle of wine for the evening meal and that's where we stay chatting about life, Brexit, Donald Trump or whether Abba are going to reform amongst other topics!
There are three bedrooms which are composed of two with double beds and one with a single bed. One of the bedrooms has a wonderful view of the Headland, the other two have views over the gardens. The Headlands communal gardens are for you to enjoy with fabulous views. There are benches and places to have a picnic overlooking the sea and spectacular coast. The gardens are great for just chilling out in and reading a book with the sound of the waves and birdlife to keep you company. At times you can see dolphins playing in the sea.
There is a TV in the cottage just in case you want to watch an episode of Poldark and why not its got some fabulous shots of Cornwall.
Please don't be shy in making an offer for your stay if it is a late booking - I would rather it be rented then empty so I may well say yes :)
19 Headlands is a two story property and the whole property is for you to use . There is a communal tennis court also for you to enjoy. There is footpath to the almost private Mears beach which is accessed by walking down the Headlands footpath - it takes around ten minutes to reach it. At times the waves are good enough to surf and body surfing is a must. You will often see seals hunting fish in the surrounding coast as you approach the end point of the Headlands.
Sorry I can't be there to meet you as I live in Argentina (I use the cottage when I am in the UK ) however, I am contactable if you book and we can communicate or email if you need anything. Also you will find the other owners very friendly and willing to help should you need to know anything. If there is an emergency I will give you a number to call and that person will sort out any problems that may occur in the house.
The cottage is a part of the ex-Headlands Hotel complex . The main hotel house was converted to apartments around 30 years ago. There are three original cottages of which 19 Headlands is one and they were the workers housing when the hotel was in existence. The Headlands, where the property is located is simply a beautiful location. As mentioned step out of the cottage, walk a few steps and you will have one of the most amazing views in the UK - simply stunning. Have breakfast in the gardens opposite the house overlooking the impressive coastline and you will probably still be there for lunch!
Coverack village is a typical lovely Cornish village with its pretty harbour and sandy beaches. Here eating fish and chips on the harbour benches as the children jump from the harbour wall into the sea is a local pastime — try it, you'll love it, no matter how old you are ! Have a pint in the friendly Paris pub and then a walk along the coastal village path - it will definitely sooth your soul.
The area is famous for its walks and if that is why you want to come believe me you won't be disappointed - it's a walkers haven.
Coverack is also near to some spectacular sights such as the Lizard, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and Poldarks mine to name just a few. These places are all within easy striking distance and believe me they are definitely worth visiting. Course you could easily lose a week just staying around the cottage reading a book or two , going for a stroll every now and then before having an afternoon nap in preparation for the evening meal — bliss
19 Headlands has two allocated parking spaces. This is a real bonus as parking in the height of season in Coverack can be tricky act.

I am originally from London but I have lived in Argentina for the past 15 years (before that France for 8 years). I owned and ran Estancia La Margarita until May 2016 (in the Provincia of Buenos Aires). I have now sold the estancia and intend to follow my first love of playing guitar and writing. I spend a lot of my time between my small country house in Tapalque ( Provincia de Buenos Aires) and my apto in Buenos Aires doing just that. While here I want to rent my house in Coverack out - it's a shame to leave it empty when it's such a great place to spend time and relax.
Why Owner chose Coverack
Whats great about 19 Headlands and why I love it is easy. Its near to everything but far away enough to have peace and tranquility. The fabulous views and walks are two seconds away from the doorstep, the private beach is five minutes down the hill and the village is a ten minutes walk where I can walk to the local pub This is great for me because driving is not my favourite pastime so I can leave the car at home and have everything in walking distance. I love the spacious kitchen with its big steel table - great for when I have loads of friends over for a glass of wine or two. The living room is big and spacious - great for doing my yoga and dancing to Abba! I always wanted to own a property in Cornwall and never dreamed I would own in such a beautiful part of Cornwall - magic There is allocated parking for two cars which in the summer is a big blessing as the village can get pretty busy
What makes this Cottage unique
The house is set in the grounds of the former Coverack Headlands Hotel. It has fabulous gardens for walking in, reading a book or having a tasty picnic and of course the views are just amazing. Please don't be shy in making an offer for your stay - I would rather it be rented then empty so I may well say its at least worth a try :)

loved it,very basic but short of nothing, would definately book again.
What a fabulous location, i have been visiting Coverack since i was a child and the unspoilt views and short walk into the village make it a perfect hidaway. My dogs love the rabbits and swallows chasing them in vain. It helped that we had perfect weather. would recommend.
It was lovely to have Louise and her party as a guests and I hope that she will come back again next year
Fantastic location, rustic,quirky ,comfortable accommodation.
The owner, David, could not have been more helpful. He gave us full details of the cottage and lots of local information that proved very useful. The views and location were outstanding. The cottage was quirky and unique. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean. Parking was easy and safe. The fresh wild flowers in the downstairs rooms were a nice homely touch. I would stay there again.
A lovely place for a holiday winter or summer
19 Headlands is really comfortable. Lovely big kitchen and sitting room, really comfortable beds and light airy bedrooms, lots of hot water and warm fires. Really nice welcome tray of tea, coffee, cakes. And two people came to check everything was OK. Great service.
The Headlands grounds are just superb, and you can easily walk to the beach below or to Coverack beach. Don't miss the sculpture park behind.
Awesome trip to coverack
The property location is awesome, near the sea and very beautiful and clean. Very well prepared for our arrival. \we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and we felt at home. David is reachable and made sure that we get all the information before our travel and it was really smooth trip. Thanks for making our trip so wonderful. The only problem we faced is network issue and wifi (no in-house Wi-Fi you need to buy BT Wi-Fi)everything else was first class for this memorable trip.
The house is located just minutes from the famous SW Coastal Path. Have a look at the map location above and you will see how near it is. You can also see how near it is the private Mears Beach just down from the headland
