About Alan & Glenys Watkins
My wife and I have been going to Juan les Pins since 1962. We went there to see the Jazz Festival in Juan which still continues to this day. We fell in love with Juan, such a small friendly resort. Every time we go back we find more and more interesting places to visit.
Alan & Glenys Watkins purchased this Apartment in 2002
Why Alan & Glenys Watkins chose Juan-les-Pins
The apartment is central for bathing, lovely restaurants and the people are all very nice. The apartment although small meets our needs and our family as well. They love it there.
What makes this Apartment unique

Avoid at all costs, if you're travelling with children and in Juan for a beach holiday
Part deposit withheld. Claim that the flat was left "very dirty" with sand everywhere. Never in 30 years of travelling as an adult have I been accused of leaving a property dirty. Absolutely appalled. The flat was left as clean and tidy as we found it. Yes, there were probably a few grains of sand that we missed. Travelling with a 10 and 12 year old on a beach holiday, there is bound to be sand. If you rent a property out as a holiday business, your rental fee includes reasonable cleaning. I wouldn't expect to have to wash, starch and iron the bed sheets and polish the toilet. I wouldn't expect to pick up every grain of sand. It is a shame that memories of a lovely holiday have been spoilt by this incident.
Hi Charlotte, Regarding your review of the 22nd August 2018. We are very surprised at your response, especially as 2 independant complaints were made, 1 by our agent in Juan and 1 by the incoming guest (whose visit to us was the 4th year). We were told after your departure, that the apartment was left `very dirty. We can only act on their reports. I had to reimburse the incoming guest for 2 hours cleaning, hence the deduction we made on your security deposit, This was made clear to you just after you vacated the apartment. We do not expect everything to be left 100%, but when 2 independant people make the same comment we have to act on their comments. Everything was made available for you to use, especially with children i.e beach equipment, also linen and towels. Most guests with children appreciate the use of games left for their amusement in the apartment. Never in 14 years has any of our guests made a review like yours. We have guests who come to us on regular holidays, and they pass on their reccommendations. Regards....Alan & Glenys
Our apartment is situated only a 5 minute train ride from Cannes where the international Film Festival is held in early May, Following on from that is the Monaco Grand Prix easily accessible by train from Juan.Take a trip to Nice, and visit the old town with its famous Flower Market, the Place Massena, beautiful buildings, and the famous Promenade des Anglais. In February the Mimosa festival is held with many fantastic floats, very colourful. The Cote d`azur has something to offer all ages, and most accessible by train or local buses. There are clifftop villages,(the views from the top of Eze are pretty spectacular) or even ski-ing in Isola, a 2 hour drive away in the winter months. One can take a train ride to Italy, or Marseille or a ferry to Corsica from Nice. Mentioned here are just a few of many places to visit on your stay, so come and see for yourselves
