My husband and I can't say enough good things about this wonderful little apartment. Ideally located (especially if you're not into crushing crowds and late night noise) in a busy but much quieter part of the city that is still close to everything. Retiro Park was such a respite after a day of sightseeing that we took advantage of the close proximity a number of times. We also enjoyed sipping wine out on the big patio after a busy day. It was a lovely way to unwind, rest our feet and discuss our day. The apartment was spacious, with plenty of closet space, and easy walking distance to countless restaurants/bars/tapas. We even dropped in on the cafeteria around the corner (located in the building) on a morning or two for a cafe con leche and croissant before setting out. Rosario was amazing. She was responsive (exceptionally prompt) and easy to discuss matters with or even just ask a question. My husband and I agreed that we had really lucked out by finding Rosario and her apartment. FYI, don't be like my husband and continually forget that the ceiling is sloped by the bed. It took him a couple of days to stop bumping his noggin every time he stood up:)
Great apartment in excellent Madrid location
Apartment is spacious for a couple with large terrace and separate balcony, each overlooking park and directly across from the Prado museum. You can walk to just about anything of interest in Madrid from the apartment.
The apartment is really very well located with stunning views. And you take much care of the apartment and leave it in very well conditions. Thank you for coming Dallas!.
Great location, particularly for the museums
Nice property centrally for all the art museums. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. There are also a lot of other sites that are within walking distance (10-25 minutes).
The accommodations themselves were great. The balconies seem really nice, but we didn't spend much time out there because it was a bit chilly when we were there.
Very respectful and nice tenants, hope to see you again Drew.
Amazing location and lovely apartment with 2 balconies
Really loved our stay - although the building lobby and elevators are a little dated, the apartment is exactly as shown and in fact we thought the two balconies were better than pictured. The location is just amazing - less than a block to the here major museums, Retiro, a nice walk to Salamanca and th surrounding neighborhood has a ton of small restaurants. Loved it!
And we also loved how you take care of the apartment.
About the lobby, we just accepted in the last Owners meeting a month ago, to fix and redecorate all.
We are fixing all the building , last year the facade, water presion, garage, and now we are starting with entrance, all halls of each floor, swimming pool, and hot water. The building has been almost abandoned for the last 15 years.
Perfect location to explore central Madrid!
The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. It is just across the street from the Prado museum and a short walk to many of the main attractions of central Madrid. We sipped wine and enjoyed the sun on the two balconies and walked to Plaza Mayor and Retiro park almost every day. There is a nice shop just downstairs where we would get coffee and breakfast before heading out each day. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to see Madrid!
Very clean and well situated
We stayed for six nights in February. A little cold so we really couldn’t really use the patios. Perfect location for seeing Madrid. A fifteen minute walk in any direction to see the sights and museums. Florentine was very attentive. My wife and I would definitely recommend.
For us was a pleasure having you, you left the apartment in very good conditions.
Hope to see you again, maybe in spring time. My best.
This area of the best museum in Madrid, and 500 meters from the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Santa Ana, and Cybele, O district of Salamanca for shopping, considered the best area of Madrid.
