I never expected anything like that. The house looks exactly like on the pictures. Everything about it is perfect. There's nobody around it, the property is huge and has got everything you could imagine. The pool is large and thanks to the lightings you can sit next to it at night. Only thing: it's a bit cold in september.

There are a lot of attractions nearby such as the sea, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, the picturesque village Jouques, paintball, we even saw a huge labyrinth on the way. Also a large supermarket is nearby.

After all we had a wonderful stay there and had so much fun.

In September it is the best price-value ratio I've ever seen.

Beautiful House and grounds with plenty of space. Nice welcome

This has been one of those memorable holidays The house was well equipped and the indoor and outdoor games added much pleasure to the holiday. The pool was frequented daily by most

Nine of our family stayed and we all agreed that the atmosphere and surroundings where just what we all needed to enjoy and come back refreshed. We especially enjoyed eating outside, using the barbecue and obtaining the food from the markets and local shops especially the boulangerie

Absolutely magical!

I hardly know where to begin about how much we loved our stay in the incredible Mas de L'Olivier in Provence. It had been a dream of ours for many years to take our family on a vacation in France. Cristelle and Bruno's beautiful home in Provence helped make that dream a reality. We wanted an old stone farmhouse, away from the crowds. Check. We wanted a lovely pool and outdoor eating area. Check. We wanted nearby wineries and boulangerie. Check. We wanted to be within 60-70 minute drive from the coast, the Luberon and other Provençal sights. Check.

When we arrived on our first day, we were astounded at the beauty of the house and surroundings. Pictures did not do it justice. We loved going into the village of Rians in the morning, picking up fresh baguettes and croissants, fresh goat cheese and veggies from the market. We wound up having most of our dinners at home. We kept cancelling restaurant reservations because no one wanted to leave. We loved grilling out and then just hanging out on the patio all evening, drinking rose, talking, laughing and staring at the stars.

We also had fun learning to play pétanque, going for early morning walks and taking photos and hanging out at the lovely pool. My husband also made good use of the mountain bike.

Cristelle, Bruno and Anne were incredibly helpful and gracious. We thank you so much for our magic week in Provence. We'll be back!

Absolutely Stunning! Photos do not do it justice!

Wow Wow Wow! We stayed at the end of Aug 16 and had a wonderful time. The house was everything we could of wanted and more. We had 8 adults and 7 children (aged between 16 and 5) and there was so much room for everyone. The kids loved the outdoor space and the playroom and the adults enjoyed lazy days around the pool, followed by food and drinks in the garden. The pool was beautiful, with enough room for us all to enjoy. The views were stunning too. Some drove over from the UK (very long drive, around 11-12 hours from Calais) and some flew/got the train into Marseille. Those who travelled into Marseille got hire cars and the drive to the house was then about 40 minutes. The local area is stunning, with a beautiful market in Jouques on a Sunday (an approx. 10 minute drive). Plenty of Vinyards around, with the closest next door - which some of us went wine tasting. The property is between 2 villages - Jouques and Rians. There is a beautiful bakery in Rians, where we stocked up on fresh pastries every morning (I think they were shut on Monday). A car is needed as although the villages are not far, it is quite a walk (though you can use the bikes provided at the house). The house was equipped with everything we needed - just needed to get extra loo rolls and bin liners! We did not meet Bruno as he was away, but we did meet the housekeeper Anne, who was most helpful and showed us around the property - we also needed to contact her during the week and she was very quick to respond. Communications before our trip were excellent, with Bruno answering all of my queries (and I did have a few!). Aix au Provence is worth a trip and was about a 30min drive, though very busy getting into the town on market day (we went on Tuesday) but a fab market and beautiful place. We stayed a week and the weather was fabulous - had 2 heavy downpours, but the rest was blue skies. I could not recommended this place enough, if you want a week away from it all - then this is the place for you! Enjoy! We cannot wait to go back again :) Thank you!

A lot of care has been taken by the owners to provided a well equipped , and thoughtfully designed property. It was very clean & well maintained with all the kitchen ,dinning equipment ,gas BBQ ,2 different outdoor areas to eat & enough sun beds with some outdoor games like boules & a trampoline. The housekeeper cooked us a couple meals which she brought already prepared which were excellent & was extremely helpful with advice.

Wundervolles Haus

  • 5 of 5
