the picture given for this property, wasnt the apartment that we were given. very similiar, but not the same. it was very dull, there was no colour and homeliness as shown in the picture.
there was a very bad smell in the room.
we paid for a welcome pack, but didnt even get a loo roll, we arrived on a friday so the best i could do after check in was to email the management (saturday and sunday they are closed) but i never even got a reply on the monday.
The television did not work at all. so we were stuck in a room with no sort of entertainment. the wifi had poor quality service, although there was a leaflet left saying that would be a problem but we should be grateful to even have internet as it is a free service.
overall the location of the apartment was good, near lots of shop and places to eat, the metro is nearby and it is easy to travel around paris.
My husband and I rented this apartment for three nights. The apartment was a good size, the shower was larger than most European showers We have been in. The weather then was chilly, so we used the heater, and it worked. The Apartment is very close to the train station, shops and most tourist attractions are a bus ride away.
The apartment was clean, but not as clean as I would have liked it to be. There were dust on the Table that held the T.V.and a few other places.
one night when we came back to the apartment there was a man laid out on the stairs Drunk and past out. This frighten my husband and I.We called the emergency number that was given to use, and know one answered, nor called us back the next day. Thank-God there was another person going into the apartment building, We told him what to expect and he told us to come. We went up the stairs and just walked over the man, and went into the apartment. Will we stay here again? No! We are in our late 50s, and don't need excitement like that. I do not recommend this property for people over 60years of age. The stairs are a killer. yes it is three flights up.And when I call an emergency number I expect someone to answer the phone.
The place is located right in the center of Paris in the second district. Walking distances from the apartment are: 3 minutes for the nearest metro station, 10 minutes from the Louvre Museum, the Seine River and Notre Dame. The area is safe and quiet.
