About Jessica Dalimata

How the ridge came to be…

Montana native Neil and his wife Jessica began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort after marrying in 2009. Neil was raised on a 1000 acre working ranch bordering the park and has always called Montana home. A carpenter and builder by trade, he and Jess wanted to build a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Jessica Dalimata purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Jessica Dalimata chose Glacier Park

The ridge at glacier

In 2013 they found the perfect spot, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off of U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

Neil began the project on the pristine land in 2014, designing a layout with a secluded feel where each cabin looks off of an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. Having worked with his father for years building cabins for resorts throughout the area, Neil brings to his own resort the finest design elements and craftsmanship that will make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

The perfect way to visit Glacier National Park!

  • 5 of 5

We were so glad when we discovered The Ridge at Glacier! The cabin was the perfect distance from the park, located on the side of a picturesque hill overlooking the woods. It was quiet and peaceful. The accommodations were just right! There was enough room for everyone but at the same time, it was cozy. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the beds were comfortable. What more could you ask for right?! This was one of the nicest VRBO experiences we have ever had and we highly recommend the Ridge at Glacier to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely wonderful!!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely LOVED this little gem of a cabin in the woods! We were close enough to civilization to feel comfortable, yet far away enough to feel like we escaped the "real world". Having the owners live on the property was a plus, too. Jessica was gracious and helpful and Rosie the dog was just too cute! While the outside is rustic, the inside is completely modern and clean. Beds were comfy, we all slept well. We didn't use them, but it was nice knowing we had a washer and dryer at our fingertips if needed. Loved the fact we had wi-fi and cell phone service (we didn't want to live totally off the grid!). Three of us stayed in the cabin, but it could comfortably sleep six. The only recommendation I have is to add a little picnic table outside. We did bring a kitchen chair on the porch so all three of us had somewhere to sit when out there, but a little table would have been great to have. I would definitely recommend The Ridge At Glacier - and we'll definitely stay again if our travels bring us back!

"Absolutely Wonderful"

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at The Ridge in cabin #3 and have loved our stay here. These cabins are by far the very best! The cabins are beautiful as well as comfy and cozy! Your right in the woods so it's very secluded and peaceful plus a great location right near the west entrance to the park. The beds are very comfortable and the cabin has everything you need. Jessica is a delight to work with! I would definitely stay her again.

The property is beautiful and very close to Glacier National Park!

  • 5 of 5

The location of this property is idyllic. The cabins are beautiful, were built by one of the owners, and feel like home. When the town is open and busy, there is plenty to do. Even during off season, snowy, or rainy days, this cabin is perfect in my eyes. I loved cozying up and spending a lazy day in this cabin. Be prepared to meet the guard dog Rosie! She's a big, friendly, fluff ball who will make it a priority to visit you whenever you're outside! I loved waking up to her wet paw prints on my back porch, I knew she was making sure I was safe and protected.

First Class Property! Wonderful owners!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and my parents stayed in Cabin #3 earlier this month. We were very impressed by Neil's fine craftsmanship! The cabin was nicely decorated, as well. Jessica was very helpful at checkin in orienting us to the property and making recommendations for nearby dining. The beds were comfortable, as was the rest of the furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our breakfasts and pack lunches for our days in nearby Glacier National Park. We also hiked around the property a bit and saw two deer. Our favorite animal, though, was Rosie, who greeted us every morning on our front porch. What a sweet dog :) I highly recommend this property!

Great Place to Stay Near West Glacier

  • 5 of 5

Our cabin was home for three fantastic days near West Glacier! My wife and I traveled to Montana with our 2 youngest (teenage) daughters. We spent our days long-hiking and enjoying the exquisite beauty of Glacier NP. Each evening we looked forward to our secluded cabin refuge to relax and recharge. We found the cabin perfect for our stay; it was fresh and equipped with everything we needed, particularly the washer and dryer. The cabin was crafted and decorated with great attention to detail, yet it was very comfortable. The owners are awesome! Rosie the watchdog is a hoot! We hope to return soon!

Glacier National Park: Crown Of The Country

By any name and from any view, Glacier National Park has a dramatic presence. Home to more than one million acres (1,583 square miles), the beauty of glacier-carved terrain encompasses wild meadows, glistening clear rivers, stunning 400-foot waterfalls, striking rock faces and dramatic mountain peaks. It's truly unlike any place on earth. The Going-to-the-Sun Road—an engineering marvel and National Historic Landmark—takes visitors through the heart of the park over Logan Pass and is one of the most scenic drives you'll ever take. In total, the Going-to-the-Sun Road is 50 miles of stunning scenic beauty.

While summer is the busiest season in the park, Glacier National Park is open year-round. Autumn offers a peaceful—and colorful—visit to the park, while winter provides a prime setting for snowshoeing, ice climbing, cross-country skiing and sightseeing.

Serenely perched atop a secluded setting overlooking mountains and forest, The Ridge at Glacier is just eight (8) miles from the park's western gate.
