LOCATION AND POINTS OF INTEREST:
The Villa is located just outside Skala Village (only 2,7 km away from Skala) and it is just opposite a traditional Greek Church (Saint George) and of course opposite the remains of an ancient temple, consisting of an archaic Doric kiosk, a stoic building and a perimeter section. The foundation of the temple dates back to the beginning of the 6th century. B.C. and had a lifetime probably until the 4th century B.C. The temple is easily accessible (only a few meters from our garden entrance) and is also considered to be the most important archaeological finding in the island of Kefalonia.
LIVING AREA AND DINING:
The main entrance places you on the main house corridor where you enter to your left into the spacious living and dining area following a single step staircase. In this living room, you and your loved ones can sink into one of our comfortable sofas, where you will enjoy the spectacular views of the garden, the swimming pool and the Ionian sea. You can also choose from hundreds of international channels on our TV or watch your favorite movies you brought from home on our DVD player. The living room is also linked to the dining area, which is furnished with a comfortable rectangular wooden table, four comfortable wooden chairs lined with leather cushion and a light yellow soft leather armchair. Throughout the house, you can enjoy the beautiful seascape, swimming pool and garden view.
The large, bright and beautiful kitchen can be accessed from the main house corridor as you enter the house to your right. It is fully equipped with refrigerator/freezer, four-ring electric stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine (laundry), ironing board and iron, pots and pans, plates and silverware, American coffee maker, Espresso coffee maker, toaster, coffee mixer and microwave. There is also a mid size but expandable rectangular table to have your breakfast with two modern chairs. What we love about the kitchen is the large window in front of the sink, which gives a vintage view of the handmade stone wall and lets the sunlight pass through the interior of the kitchen and the house but also the wall window that lets the view of the living room, the swimming pool and the terrace uninterrupted.
Also in our kitchen you may find a first aid kit, sewing kit, fire log.

About Costas Korakakis
Hello! My name is Costas and I am a father of two beautiful children and a husband of an amazing wife. In general I am an easygoing person and detail oriented in everything I do. Me and my brother we are looking forward to be your host in our magnificent villa and offer you the most relaxing, peaceful, private and family vacations you ever experienced. My life motto is "LESS IS MORE"
Costas Korakakis purchased this Villa in 2000
Why Costas Korakakis chose Elios Proni
Kefalonia and especially Skala has offered me and my brother the most amazing summer holidays of our lives. When our parents decided to build this house for us, we were in our teenage years and it felt like they brought paradise a bit closer to our family. This house is a jewel for our family and is built with a lot of effort and love.
What makes this Villa unique
The Villa offers 180 degrees of sea view. Moreover the Ionian seascape is visible throughout the whole property.

Lovely, Peaceful & relaxing setting.
The Villa is lovely & clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay.
Beautiful views of the sea & in the most peaceful & relaxing setting.
You do need a car to reach Skala town for the restaurants otherwise it is a very long walk.
We had some fantastic food in Skala, lots of lovely seafood & the staff are so warm & friendly.
There are some beautiful to places to visit if you have use of a car.
This is the first time I have been to Kefalonia. I have visited other Greek Islands but Kefalonia is the most lush & prettiest in my opinion.
I would highly recommend this Villa if you are looking for a holiday offering peace & relaxation.
Very nice villa set in a lovely garden with great view.
The villa is very clean and comfortable. It's not huge but perfect for a group of 6. It's a little outside Skala town, but the town is still quite accessible (although perhaps a little too much of a walk in strong heat). Our only negative comment would be the lack of a bbq which apparently cannot be used here due to fire risk.
