Our Beach Cottage was originally build in the 1920 & has been in our family for over 40 years. It has recently undergone a complete refurbishment & is now available to rent. It is one of a handful of beach front properties in Whitstable's Seasalter bay, with captivating sea views encompassing the Swale Estuary & Isle of Sheppy to the west across to Whitstable to the east. Living literally right on the beach at Seasalter is quite special, so whether your passion is fishing, bird watching or sailing, or need a base to explore neighbouring Canterbury, Faversham or Whitstable, our beach cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing & entertaining stay.

very impressed...fantastic stay
a very impressive cottage, very clean with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable! Stunning view from the back garden area and enjoyed tea times out there. Visited lots of local places and weather was on our side too. A very good stay and would like to return one day soon.
Perfect retreat , everything you need for a get away break . Lovely and close to whitstable but just far enough away to have quiet time too. We will definately come again.
Lovely property and great location
We had a wonderful time at the property, our granddaughter especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach. We will definitely recommend it to all our friends and family.
Amazing! Fantastic location - perfect retreat
The property is fabulous... super clean, very well equipped without clutter and an amazing view/location. Great attention to detail and the cottage felt luxurious but so comfortable .. it's really a home away from home. It reminded me of our family beach house in Australia. Even when it rained, the view was great and the cottage wasn't claustrophobic at all. I can't recommend it highly enough ... just book it ... you won't be disappointed!
A delightful place to stay ...
Our stay was really too short, nobody wanted to go !!! We only stayed 3 nights with my grand-daughters. We really appreciated the comfort, the delicate decoration, every item having its dedicated place. A real little jewel !!!
But not only is the cottage very comfortable, but it is also very well and conveniently equipped, not to forget the extreme cleanliness.
The landscape one has from the large living-room windows is spectacular and awesome with the colors of the sea always changing and the rhythm of the tides in the estuary.
My two elder grand-dauhgters loved to go walking on the beach and the little pier first thing in the morning as soon as they had woken up, climbing over the garden wall of course !!!
We hope to be able to book again some other time.
Thank you Jakki and James for letting your property. We loved it.

Great little place
The cottage was just as described and more. Really lovely two-bed place perfect for a weekend. We came for the Oyster festival and as its about a 40min walk from the town at a super busy time we had trouble getting taxi's to and from Whistable. It would be a good idea to pre-book all taxis prior to arrival or drive. Never the less the water voles and sparrows and quiet were welcome.
