How to live like a local in Sevilla
This apartment is immaculately kept and looks exactly as pictured. We enjoyed our two week stay here with our two teenagers. You are right in the midst of an active neighborhood with delicious tapas places and the Féria
Market mere steps away, but are enclosed in a courtyard space that offers a respite from the busy streets. You are also only a 15-20 minute walk from the main tourist attractions (or a 5 minute cab ride). You can tell that there is a true pride of ownership and care that goes into this apartment , and Salvatore, the owner, is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to provide comforts and be available for anything needed. He provided fruit, drinks, coffee, tea, sugars, detailed map, plenty of English guidebooks, and prompt responses and directions to any of our questions. Just to note, There is great a/c, but the kitchen is not air conditioned (you can shut it off from the rest of the apartment. ) We would stay there again, highly recommend!
A beautiful property in a perfect location
The property is wonderfully clean, and very well appointed. Salvador, the host, was a fantastic gentleman who could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We felt very well taken care of. Easy walking to fantastic restaurants, coffee spots and amazing people watching. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
No place better for our Seville stay!
Salvador and Pepe are wonderful, helpful hosts. It is obvious they take pride in the condition, beauty, and ease of use of their apartment in Seville. Its location is a bit away from the city center, and so it is quiet and peaceful neighborhood. And yet, it is so very close that we easily walked to everywhere we wanted to visit in Seville. We could not recommend it more highly.
Salvador was awesome
The property owner Salvador was wonderful. He met us at the apartment and showed us around. His apartment was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the location and walked everywhere.
Upon our departure Salvador called us a taxi, met us at the apartment and walked us to the taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Seville.
Salvador was most accommodating and the apartment was as described.
Only thing lacking was an elevator. The apartment had everything else you could need. Would stay again. Again Thanks to Salvador for his services.
Macarena is a district full of local activity and colour, located in the northern part of the historic centre of Seville. Partially enclosed by a section of Seville’s ancient city wall, Macarena overflows with character stemming from its working-class history.
There is the wonderful fresh food market on Feria Street, as well as several bakeries, grocery stores, tapas bars and restaurants all nearby. The vibrant Alameda de Hércules is a recently renovated tree-lined square, popular with families during the day and with those who enjoy night-life after dark. The Alameda has many cafés, modern terrace bars and clubs which stay open late into the night.
Heading north you'll find the Macarena gate, within a long stretch of the original city defensive walls, and the Basilica of the Macarena, home of one of Seville's most venerated religious images of the Virgin Mary.
