Carob Trees is a newly refurbished villa situated in an entirely private location on a wooded hillside in one of the most beautiful, unspoilt regions on the Western side of Southern Cyprus. Carob Trees is a unique, privately built 5 bedroom** villa situated in the hills behind Polis Chrysochous. This luxuriously appointed villa commands beautiful unobstructed views of the Troodos Mountains, and really is one of a kind.
As a new construction, this villa has been purposely designed to achieve the highest standards with some stone cladding externally. Inside is an open plan layout, completed in a minimalist style. Patio doors and windows are double glazed. Central heating is installed for year round comfort. Due to the careful positioning of the villa, maximum privacy has been achieved without obstructing the beautiful views that the property enjoys. When you enter the villa, we hope you feel its personality, individuality and warm homely feeling.
From the villa there is an astounding panorama of the Troodos Mountains and surrounding hills with far reaching views down through the valley to the Mediterranean Sea. The villa has both full central heating and air conditioning making it an ideal location for summer and winter vacations. The small seaside town of Polis is approximately 12 minutes away by car with Paphos within easy reach (less than 1 hour's drive away.)
The renowned Anassa Hotel is a 20 minute journey along the coastal road, with the Akamas Peninsula (an area of outstanding natural beauty with deep gorges, wild landscape & wide sandy bays) just a few miles further away.
DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR
The accommodation consists of four general areas:
Main Villa: ground floor living area-kitchen-dining area, upper sleeping area and basement/laundry room.
The reception hallway has a bathroom/WC and leads to the two bedroom apartment (this could also serve as part of the main ground floor living area).
The spacious kitchen features - Samsung Fridge/Freezer, Sharp microwave, Bosch 'Tassimo' coffee machine, Kettle, 4 slice toaster, Electric orange juicer, Bosch electric hob, Otto extractor fan, Miele electric oven and LG 12 piece dishwasher,
Dining Area features 10 x dining chairs for table. (extendable)
Lounge- 8 seater leather sofa set, Panasonic TV (40-42 inch) TV, Sony DVD, Mag TV box (for Premium Satellite Viewing including Sky and channels in German, Spanish, Russian etc), Bose docking station, 2 x ceiling fans in lounge/dining area, & flyscreens on patio doors, WIFI router and Open Fire.
From the reception hallway,, a marble staircase leads past a huge scenic window to the upper bedroom sleeping area; The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower over), window and patio door., views to the hills and sea, as well as a balcony.
There is a separate shower wet room for guests occupying the 2nd bedroom, which also has access to the balcony and views. A 5th bedroom has windows on all sides, commanding lovely views. This is a twin bedroom/child’s bedroom with twin beds and an extendable child's bed (suitable for child aged 3-8). A cot can be provided for any bedroom in addition.
The marble staircase leads down to the basement area housing a large utility/laundry room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Self-Contained Annexe Apartment with separate entrance. The two bedroom apartment (1 double and a twin sharing a large shower room) has its own open plan kitchen/dining area (Alpha oven, Bosch, electric hob, Otto extractor fan, Morphy Richards kettle & 4 slice toaster, Taster fridge, Venus Washing machine), lounge with TV and 2 x 2 seater sofas, with views to the sea and hills to the rear increasing the occupancy up to 10 guests. * Bedding provided for both summer and winter months: duvets for the cooler nights with a choice of either feather or hypoallergenic pillows
* Hairdryers provided in each bedroom
* Essentials for the young members of the family available on request - including travel cot & bedding, high chair, etc- Stair gates have been fitted in the main villa at the bottom and top for safety of younger guests also.
* Free Wifi of up to 11 MB currently is accessible throughout the downstairs and pool area of the villa
DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR
As you enter Carob Trees from the roadside the sweeping landscaped driveway leads to a large double garage, adjacent to the villa.
The 10m x 5m pool with Roman Steps for ease of access is situated in front of the house amid landscaped gardens and tropical plants.
The amazing views and pool area are overlooked by a covered outside terrace which hosts a large table and chairs seating 10 making it the perfect place for alfresco dining and socialising with your group.
A covered rear terrace provides welcome shade for peak periods of sun and a quiet retreat so the outdoor lifestyle can be enjoyed at all times.

The outside areas are completely secluded and cannot be seen from any neighbouring properties.
Rental is based on Occupancy of all areas unless the relevant discount is applied for 6 persons or less in which case the annexe will be closed. Should any smaller groups require use of the annexe apartment (in addition to the main villa) we can arrange this as an optional extra.
The Annexe Cannot be rented on its own.
Extra Guests over and above the occupancy of 10 can be agreed for £50.00 pp per week. Maximum 13 of which only 11 can be adults/children (max 10 adults). Other two must be infants sleeping in cots

''We had an absolutely wonderful week in Cyprus. The villa was one of the best we have ever stayed in. So spacious and thoughtfully set up. The views and rural location beautiful with easy access to the beach and shops within ten minutes drive. We had a wonderful night out at the Watermill in Steni, and also found a superb Fish Taverna on the coast in Pomos. The communications by both you as agents and Debbie the manager has been 1at class, responding to any issues of queries very quickly. We probably won't be back in Cyprus over the next two years as we tend to visit different countries each year, but we will be back at some point in our life time to revisit the fabulous beaches and amazing archaeological ruins.
