Perfect in Every Way
My two daughters (13 and 9) and I stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. Francoise is a wonderful host and we fell in love with her as much as the apartment. The apartment was cozy but worked for us and was a perfectly located resting spot. The apartment is centrally located just outside Luxembourg and the Latin Quarter. We actually walked to the Eiffel Tower. It was a hike but well worth it because we saw so much of the city which is why we were in Paris. I'm hopeful to come back to Paris and would absolutely and without question stay here again.

Our first visit in over 40 years was made especially pleasant and comfortable by staying at this tiny, neat, and very efficient studio. The location was ideal with easy access to the metro, restaurants and Luxemburg gardens. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.
Fabulous and friendly!
We LOVED this apartment and our wonderful hostess. The location is fantastic. The apartment is homey. Francoise thinks of everything--it's almost like staying in a B&B, with coffee, milk, eggs, ham and yogurt all stocked upon our arrival. There's a small lift, so in the evening, after a full day of sightseeing in Paris, you don't have to walk up a lot of steps! There's a small washing machine, and an ingenious drying rack, which is a nice bonus after days of traveling. Though the studio is small, the bathroom and shower are full-sized. A short walk in any direction brings you to several restaurants, and lots of transportation options are nearby--RER straight to CDG, bus lines and Metro entrances. This apartment is an incredible value for its location--there's a reason that it's booked so far in advance. With all of the wonderful artwork, it felt like coming home every evening, rather than returning to a hotel or a rental. Thank you, Francoise, for sharing your wonderful studio with travelers to Paris!
Small but wonderful
I stayed here for a week when I was in Paris for business. First, the location is perfect: just 200 meters from an RER station and the bus stop (the RER train comes direct from the airport, so very easy for arrivals, and similarly, one of the bus routes leads directly to the Gare du Nord). There's a boulangerie right across the street (a favorite of Hemmingway's), a supermarket just a short walk down the street, and plenty of additional conveniences nearby (restaurants, shops, street market, metro connections). There's an elevator that takes you right to the door of the apartment, but people with disabilities should be aware that there are about 6 steps up when you first enter the apartment building.
The apartment itself is tiny and cleverly arranged, with absolutely anything anyone could ever need (particularly in the kitchen) all available. Storage units have been installed in every possible area. The kitchen, though tiny, holds every appliance, utensil, pan, dish or tool one could ever need, and Francoise also keeps a number of staples in both the refrigerator and in the cupboards, so it is possible to stay a few days without needing to shop!
One of the best advantages of the apartment is its light. The living area has a window that takes up nearly an entire wall, and it looks into a courtyard full of studio apartments and a private school. You get a tiny amount of noise in the morning from students, but nothing bad.
In all, I found this a comfortable, pleasant place to stay, one in which every need had been anticipated. I wouldn't want to bring a large group of people into this apartment, but I think it could work for up to 3 adults without any trouble. It might be tough with a young, active child, but an older child would be fine. Francoise is an excellent and thoughtful hostess who has put a great deal of thought into the comfort of her guests.
