About the property

Loft type house of recent construction, located in the center of Jerez de la Frontera, in the neighborhood of San Mateo.

The apartment is located in an old warehouse converted into loft dwellings. Modern building with the structure and aesthetics of a typical Jerez winery: large stone pillars, high wooden and brick ceilings, wooden floors, white walls and large windows.

The house is a diaphanous space divided into two levels. The upper and lower floor has the wooden floor. The height of the ceilings and its six large windows contribute to create a clear environment. The building has a swimming pool.

Due to its location, the accommodation is ideal to get to know the city of Jerez, famous for its 'Sherry' wine, Andalusian horses and Flamenco singing and dancing. Golf courses and beaches are also just a few minutes drive from the apartment.

Very spacious open plan apartment with high windows in an old bodega cellar style with high ceilings

A light an airy feel with good use of white and unique art on the walls and a choice of lighting and music to create your ambience in this spacious open plan apartment. The building is home to a few well spaced apartments so we were not disturbed by neighbours noise. There is a choice of cobbled streets to get to the heart of Jerez, one is a longer gentler slope past the Church of Carmen which is very pretty inside and there are small bars old and new to stop in on the way. The other route is steeper but much shorter and passes buildings of significance. The kitchen is well stocked with electrical gadgets herbs and spices and white goods around a stainless steel island which overlooks a massive dining table and lounge with low white sofas with enough room for five people to sit in front of the TV. The area is authentic bodegas and houses which have been updated tastefully. There is a bus stop for the no 2 to the Renfe very close by. The outdoor space is out of the wind with high walls and there is shade and sunny areas to sit, but no hotel type sun loungers and we sadly were too early in the season for the pool to be open for use. In fact it was given a deep clean with chemicals lasting a week making it impossible to use which was a big shame as it was one reason we chose this place over others. Another small issue was the lack of adequate U-bends which is quite common for property here. The slight odour was more apparent in the internal bathrooms and by the lower ceiling entrance but not noticeable in the main lounge and bedrooms at all. So we would book to go here again despite this. Manuel the owner is very helpful and obliging and has good information and tips but speaks little English like many of the population in Jerez. This is a great place to feel real Spain. It is not for your common garden variety of tourist at all. Getting used to the change of eating times is great fun and you can go from Taberna to bar to restaurant for tapas, half ration or full ration to suit your hunger levels with the menus mainly written in full Spanish. The main attraction is the Horse Ballet School and the Horse Fair. We thoroughly enjoyed the former which is good value with a queue of course and we will return another year for latter as it is considered one of the best fairs. 35 min train to Cádiz and bit more for Seville it is well located. We were impressed by the loft style apartment and it’s facilities. We were thankful for the warm welcome.

Our stay in Jerez

We spent a week in Jerez and the condo was beautiful. There was lots of room and the kitchen was well equipped . We celebrated christmas with our friends from Jerez. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Tolles Loft

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Loft hält was es verspricht, es ist alles nötige vorhanden.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, ruhig aber doch zentral ( 5 min Gehweg ins Zentrum ).

Der Vermieter war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns auch eingie Tips zum sight-seeing in der Region gegeben.

Fazit.....absolut empfehlenswert!!!!!!

loft de diseño en un entorno tranquilo

Loft muy confortable en lo que fueron unas antiguas bodegas, es tal y como aparece en las fotos. A 10 minutos andando del centro se encuentra situado en una zona tranquila y sin problemas de aparcamiento.

Manuel, el dueño, siempre diligente y dispuesto a responder a cualquier duda, nos ayudó mucho para organizar la visita a la provincia de Càdiz.
