A stones throw from the beach
About Claire Francis
We are lucky enough to have the best of both worlds; the countryside & southdowns near Amberley in the summer & the bustling, exhilerating seaside of bognor in the winter. I enjoy my regular visits to the quaint cinema & the lovely breakfasts served at the Lobster Pot overlooking the sea on a winter, sunny day or cycling along the seafront in either direction. As some photos show we recently set up an apiary at Houghton Bridge on the Southdowns Way; originally there were 2 hives, now increasing due to swarming. We hope to make honey available for the 'welcome pack' & to include homegrown veg.
Claire Francis purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Claire Francis chose Bognor Regis
We could see potential with the garage, courtyard & the fact there was so much to offer close by, its recent history was interesting - used for growing cannabis; well I had to have it!
What makes this Apartment unique
It's the location that makes this little apartment so unusual & what it has to offer, a base from which to explore without having to drive & park everyday.

Absolutely lovely! Will defiantly go back ❤️
Claire is such a nice women and the apartment we rented is like a home from home we didn't want to leave!!
Great place to stay
The pictures really don't do this property any justice, it's lovely and really feels like a home away from home! This was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable so we slept like a dream and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal. We also found it nice and quiet, as well as being just a minute's walk from the beach. Claire has put extra thought into this place, providing snacks and some essential food items should you arrive late. The property is also just 5 minutes drive from a retail park where you'll find a few large supermarkets and some fast food restaurants. It states that the garage is small, which is true but we managed to park our Ford Fiesta in there quite easily. If your car doesn't fit in there, Claire provides visitor permits for on the road just outside. The only negatives we have were that the sofas were a bit too hard for us (but hopefully you'll be off enjoying the surrounding area instead of spending lots of time on them!) and the shower a little difficult to get a good temperature. Nothing drastic to report here! We've already decided that if we come back, this is where we'll be trying to book :) Thanks again Claire, for making our long weekend great!
thank you for the honest remarks about the property; the shower is what i would describe as sensitive & requires gentle 'tweaking' for the correct temperature & the sofas probably need some 'wearing in'! best wishes claire
