About Heather and Mike
We've been married for over 20 years and have 2 grown children. We came to the river for a boating trip with some friends 19 years ago. We used to be lake boaters, but from that day forward we were all about the river and haven't looked back. We moved to Stillwater specifically for the boating, but have fallen in love with the town with its shopping, many restaurants and friendly people. We live on our boat most of the summer and for that reason are able to make our home available most of the boating season.
Heather and Mike purchased this House in 2010
Why Heather and Mike chose Stillwater
We decided on this home after months of searching. As soon as we saw this house we knew it would be perfect for our family. The home was originally built in 1890, underwent a remodel in 2004 and we continue to make improvements. We love our home and hope you enjoy it too.
What makes this House unique
Our home is located close to downtown shopping and restaurants. It offers open views and is a great place to catch a baseball game from the front porch in the summer. If you have any specific items you would like to request for your stay (grocery, liquor, etc.) please let us know and we will try to accommodate.

Awesome, beautiful accommodations
Easy, everything was well communicated and far beyond our expectations. We had a wonderful time.
Our mother/daughter getaway was awesome. The house easily accommodated 6 ladies. The patio in the back was very nice. We were probably there more than in the house. Lovely place. Than you.
Owners were very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. They provided information about the area. Restaurants, activities, etc. The house was warm and inviting. The house had everything one would need. Kitchen stocked and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
The entire experience was wonderful!
Five of us stayed in this home for three nights, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was a wonderful home, with every amenity we could ask for. The location was terrific, and we enjoyed the fire pit on our last night there.
Very nice location, but walk to downtown is more of a hike than a walk. Property has nice amenities, including outdoor patio and fire pit. Furnishings are as pictured. Dog pee spots on carpet and terribly squeaky bedroom door were turnoffs for one of our guests.
Thank you for the review, it’s unfortunate you did not think our home deserved five stars as so many have in the past. This is the first we are hearing of a squeaky door as no one has mentioned it before but it is an easy fix. A phone call to notify us of the issue would’ve given us a chance to rectify.
The few stains that are on the floor are definitely not urine, they are from other guests who spill things and don’t wipe them up right away making them hard to remove without professional cleaning, which we have done at least twice a year. We work hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for our guests and it’s a shame a few blemishes would tarnish the pride we take in what our home provides.
The “hike” to downtown is less than a mile and is all city streets so it’s unclear what qualifies it as anything other than a walk, besides the staircase. The distance is disclosed in the listing description.
