Perched on the bank of the Tippecanoe River, this house hangs in air like a treehouse, giving optimal views. Lifted 12 feet in the air, the house and river offers both leisure and vigorous activities: a prolific flowering garden, a screened in porch, outdoor patios, swings, tubing, chair surfing(river lounging), fishing, hiking, bird watching, games, bon fires, nature walks to list a few. You'll be in a new world. An open kitchen looks down upon the living and dining rooms, making it the central hub of the house. The concrete patio, under the house, is a great hangout year round...sun, rain, lightning storms. This house is a great getaway.
There is a loft(3rd bedroom/2nd bath) that is available to rent for an additional $75/night.

We had wonderful time and the views were beautiful. I wish the weather would have been a little warmer so we could enjoy the outdoors spaces more.
We spent ten days here in Aug. 2017 and absolutely loved it! The river views from the many picture windows were amazing. Highly recommend.
Our family of 5 stayed at this property so that we could do a college visit at Purdue (about 30 minutes away) and go to a Purdue football game. We had a great weekend and enjoyed the peace and quiet of this rustic house on the Tippencanoe River. The outdoor deck was very nice as was the living area, which has great views of the rapidly flowing river below. It was refreshing to spend time with the family without a TV and we would like to revisit this location.
Very clean place. Furnished nicely.
Quiet and pretty! The section of the river is cool with little islands. There's an eagle nest right across the river. It flew around a bit and dove in the water to catch fish. Amazing sight!
Would love to go back some day.
The view from the house is amazing and the sound of the river is relaxing. We caught bass and catfish! A great getaway!
We were looking for a relaxing location for our first ever girls' weekend and this place was definitely it! The house is gorgeous and has a view that can't be beat. We enjoyed the feeling of being out of the city while still keeping all the comforts of home. We saw deer almost every day we were there. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond.
