Why Marcela Morton chose Dumbarton
This property is located on a non-working farm, walking distance from Dumbarton city center and big shops such as Asda, Morrisson, B&M, Pet Store and restaurants. We have a friendly dog and horses, and we do accept dogs. It is a quiet and peaceful location ideal for after a long day of touring.

We were there for 3 nights, 6th-9th July , Everything was as expected with the description of the property. Easy to find, spotlessly clean, everything we needed was to hand. There was a short drive to shops and all the sights. Only thing we didn’t like was the driveway up to the property, but it didn’t stop us going out and about
I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends.
Just a quick stay
We were just there over night and didn't get a chance to meet Marcella. The property was very clean and thre location was just where we needed to be.
Great cottage on the edge of Loch Lomond but the setting is beautiful. It was very clean and the wifi was great.
Lovely little cottage on a farm. Gorgeous drive up the lane. Kind owner. We enjoyed our stay.
A perfect little place
We stayed for 2 nights at Whitely's Farm Cottage, en route to the western isles of Scotland. We found the cottage easily with the instructions provided and thought the location was great. It was peaceful but only very short distance away from Dumbarton for shopping and food. It was also perfectly located for a couple of days exploring Loch Lomond.
The cottage was spotlessly clean, neat and well appointed. The furnishing was attractive and the appliances all in great working order. We soon got the place warm, following the clear instructions for the heating and found the bedroom very comfortable. Plenty of hot water, nice bedding and everything shiny in the kitchen.
This little place is great value for money and very dog friendly. Everyone we met was very pleasant and felt that there had been a lot of attention to detail. We would recommend for a short break and would definitely visit again for a stop over on the way to Scotland.
